Labneh and Zaatar Manousheh Pie 10/10

First review of 2026! Levant Oven is located in the Powers Ferry Strip. It has free parking and there are many other businesses that share the strip. I'm a huge fan of Lebanese food and was excited to try them out. The restaurants interior is cute and cozy. There are a few tables outside and on days like today, it was perfect! The interior was very clean and we were greeted immediately by the employee upon walking in. You take your order at a register and the food is brought out to you. They offer a free room temp water dispenser and you're able to self serve. The menu has many pies to offer. They also have a few salads if you prefer those. I was able to try the Labneh & Zaatar Manaeesh. This reminds me of something my friend's mom used to make for me. It was delicious and comforting. The portion sizes are hearty and the prices are fair for what you're getting. They offer some sweet renditions of the savory Manaeesh and I thought that was so SWEET :P. I ended up taking home my leftovers and had second meal with the quantity. FINAL VERDICT: I would definitely come back here. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The concept is lovely and they have choices for everyone. We were told they will be adding shawarma to the menu- How exciting!

Levant Oven is a fantastic spot for halal food, especially if you love fresh, flavorful Middle Eastern‑style pizzas. The kofta pizza in particular stands out, with well‑seasoned meat and a great balance of toppings that really showcases their quality ingredients. The restaurant offers plenty of halal meat options, so it's an easy choice when you're looking for something both convenient and halal‑friendly. Service is warm and attentive without being overbearing, and orders come out in a timely manner, which makes dining there relaxed and stress‑free. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, making it a great place to stop in for a laid‑back meal with friends or family. Overall, Levant Oven has quickly become a go‑to choice for tasty halal food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, and the kofta pizza alone is worth the visit.

Delicious, freshly baked to order flat breads with various traditional toppings. I recommend the basic "meat pie", the just cheese pie, zatar spice pie or the half cheese half zatar. And the raw veggie side plate. Go now before it gets popular and the prices go up.

The food was fantastic!! The best Mediterranean food I have had since eating the Lebanese food my best friends mother who was from Lebanon made. I have been looking for this type of food since I moved to Atlanta and finally found it!!! Do yourself a favor and go!

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent selection of baked goods. Meats and cheese covered options and even falafel. My favorite is the long pies. The crust thin and light. Cheese with sujuk is a must. Well seasoned sujuk. Yummy. The falafel baked bread sandwich is a masterpiece. The minced beef pies so delightfully. Thus is is a must visit bakery. Other options we hope to try in the future such as hummus

    So clean

I can't recommend this place enough! Not only is the food absolutely delicious and always fresh the prices are truly unbeatable. There is something for everyone on the menu and ordering at the counter makes it quick and easy. The beautiful artwork inside adds so much charm and is very inviting. This place has become a go-to for a fresh, quick and delicious meal. It's such a great addition to the area. If you're looking for somewhere to eat, give it a shot!

Absolutely love this place! The service is outstanding. The menu is wonderfully versatile. The hummus tastes just like home. The salad is amazing, very refreshing!! They bake their own bread fresh every morning, and you can really taste the difference. This place truly feels like a little slice of the Levant. It's hard to find fresh baked authentic middle eastern pies.

    Falafel

I barely write reviews so this says a lot. The restaurant is extremely clean, which tells me a lot about food preparation. Secondly the food was very fresh and whole- not processed or previously prepared. I really enjoyed it and the portions were big. I was full but still felt light after eating half of the falafel and the veggie side.

Apparently, Alma opened this second location more than a year ago...it's not easy to see this resto from Atlanta Rd., but easy to find once you turn into this (Belmont) small corner of shops and restaurants. This review is based on my late weekday lunch. +. Ambiance is bright, clean and casual. ME feels spacious as there is plenty of natural light from its corner location full of windows. There is a patio as well, but it's a hot and humid August summer day in Atlanta. It would be a pleasant option come Fall or Spring. This part of Atlanta Rd near downtown Smyrna seems to be becoming trendier with more restaurants and Still Fire brewery. +++. Food is Moroccan casual. It's a limited menu but executed very well! I tried their Shawarma Chicken plate that came with saffron rice, hummus and pita. Their chicken shawarma was exquisitely seasoned and balanced. It's spicy but not hot and differs from the middle-eastern shawarmas. Their "warm" pita is fluffy soft and perfect to pick up chicken and hummus. My order also came with a small salad. Alma's harissa is the "BEST" I've had. It's got a little kick and pretty amazing. I'll definitely be returning to explore the menu +++ Price is reasonable especially given their quality! Approximately $10-20pp. ++ Service was prompt, friendly and super nice! I'm not a fan of Moroccan cuisine from visiting the country a while ago, but ME's food is deLicious! Sensing my hesitancy, they even offered me a sample of the shawarma before I ordered! ++ Parking is a shared lot, ample and free. Over all, an IMPRESSIVE little restaurant! Marrakesh Express adds much to the Cobb restaurant scene. Apparently, they were originally at Global Grub Collective. After GGC closed, they opened a place near GT and about a year and half ago, ME opened their second location in Smyrna! WeLcoMe!! The spices in the rice were overpowering and my partner didn't enjoy it as much. The potatoes were extra crunchy and a bit burnt... unsure if it was overdone or on purpose. It smelled like was it cooked in coconut oil. I would say 7 out of 10 overall. The lamb neck was recommended by the waiter. It was really good, slow cooked and the meat was tender. The sauce was unremarkable. The waiter gave us a house made spicy sauce and made this dish significantly better. I would say 9/10 overall. The hummus with the pickled mushroom was amazing. It was topped off with truffle oil and I just couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would say 10/10. I just want to point out the bill had a notice that says "tips are based on check prices after taxes" was confusing and unsure why would company charge tips on top of taxes. Our waiter was amazing so we didn't mind paying the extra but it really made us wonder about the company policy.

Let me just tell you, that this recommendation did NOT disappoint. The moment I dipped my pita into the lamb hummus I already knew this was about to be one of my favorite meals and boy was I correct. From the lamb hummus, to the grilled veggies, the chicken kebob to the rack of lambs- everything was truly delectable!!!! Ofc we couldn't skip on dessert. We got the burnt honey pistachio cake that was both of our favs and the mahlab s'mores sundae that was also incredibly good. After speaking with the staff, i believe Mashawi is more specifically palestinian. The concept of this place is what sets it apart. They make it easy for the new comer or the veteran by telling you that there is nothing to order, you just enjoy. Right out of the gate, the side dishes and salads are presented like you are at a wedding feast. It is family style so you have to be quick if you want first dibs on the babaganoush or the hummus, and especially the Falafel (best i have ever had). Don't worry if you are slow to the draw because they will refill all sides and salads. The hardest part abotu Mashawi is having self conctrol because what comes next is a parade of seasoned meats and proteins that only get better. Reccomend the Steak, Kifta, and shrimp and Salmon. I have only been for dinner and at the end of this glorious meat train, they will ask if you would like more! It's a great family experience, or a night out with other friends. If you are wanting to introduce this cuisine to rookies, this place is perfect because there is no pressure to choose the right item. There plenty of choices for everyone to find something to eat. My last piece of advice would be to wait to order the Mint Drink at the end as a paltte clenser. They tempt you with a taste at first, but waiting till the end is the perfect punctuation to a unique and unforgettable meal.

At $45.99 per adult, it is less expensive than Fogo de Chão, so I wouldn't expect the same level of meat quality. We tried quite a few of the meats, and while everything was fine, we found the quality, texture, and flavor fairly average. The portions brought to the table were also surprisingly small -- for example, two shrimp and a very small piece of salmon at a time. Since it is all-you-can-eat, you can ask for more, but overall the experience didn't feel particularly generous. The most unusual part of our experience was the mansaf. It is listed as part of the all-inclusive menu, and since none of us had ever tried it, we specifically asked for it. The gentleman serving us strongly discouraged us from ordering it, explaining that mansaf is very heavy and that usually Jordanian customers come specifically for it. Later, when we asked again, he told us that since we were already full, there was really no need to order it. He did say he would bring it if we really wanted it, but after being discouraged multiple times, it felt awkward to insist, so we ultimately didn't try it. We understand that mansaf comes as a large dish and that he may simply have been trying to prevent food waste, which is understandable. At the same time, since it is specifically listed as an included item, we were surprised to be so strongly discouraged from ordering it. We were genuinely interested in trying a traditional Jordanian dish, not simply ordering more food because it was included. Overall, the concept is interesting and the price is reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal. It is also fair to keep the lower price point in mind when comparing it with places like Fogo. But between the average meat quality, small portions, and the awkward experience around ordering the mansaf, we probably won't return.
