I completed the application online & it was approved & I was told I just needed to go through their verification process. I gave them my Wells Fargo bank information & they deposited $135 to my account & than I had to purchase a Maceys gift card & send to them. They than deposited $200 on to my account & I was to purchased another Marcys card for $200 & sent it to them. They advised me everything was good & I was approved & I would receive $2000 to my bank account which I never did. My bank is withholdong $135 as the said the deposit was not good! Now I have to close my bank account for fraud! I do have a printed approval letter from them that I signed but I was told by another advance America in my local area. & they said it was fraud!!

I cannot think of a single reason for that denial, but the twisted pleasure of the denial itself. Maybe he doesn't like a well-dressed smiling, white, 70-year-old man walking into "his" lobby for other reasons than bringing money? God knows! I had 6 huge Flamboyant trees in front of my house that I planted myself in Largo, it would never cross my mind to deny anybody a cutting of those trees, and God knows I missed them. Would you trust someone with that attitude for advice, with no common sense, and prone to random acts of wickedness? Individuals like him don't do anything for anybody unless they can take a good chunk in exchange for it. That simple act speaks loudly of him as a person and the company he works for. If I were the CEO of Grow Financial I would fire that manager immediately: first for being a bad person and second: those 7" already cost the company one prospective client, me, and God knows how many others. They can just multiply their ACT -average client transaction- for just 2 lost clients and they will find out the cost of that 7" tree branch... the most expensive 7" ever! and another one-star review the company doesn't need. The hours of operation and the days they are open trump every other bank out there. This location is much larger and much newer than the branch a few miles away on Kennedy. Their staff has also always been friendly, helpful and extremely attentive. This particular location sports ample parking, is very well lit, and has easy access from Kennedy. The staff here even keeps a TD green bowl of water should you need to use the ATM and have your furry friend along for the ride. I must admit it is quite miserly of me that I keep a savings account at TD Bank just for the coin counting privilege. I use cash for most of my day to day transactions, which amounts to change consoles, cups, and a piggy bank needing frequent cleaning out. It doesn't hurt that you get a prize if you guess the amount of change you've saved. I have a lovely box of TD mints, a TD logo coin bank, volumes of pocket-sized tissue, and more recently an awesome TD bank yo-yo.
