Low and behold, I get a letter from Achieva telling me they are sending me to collections. First of all, I never left a dime there initially, and to get the letter.....how repulsive. So went to another. Not a way to establish a relationship with a customer.

Customers have lost all online access to bank statements and credit card activity. My accounts backed up on external drive and pdf show I paid my credit card bill in full on the due date, yet it was not reflected prior to becoming invisible during "system maintenance". Not only that, almost $3000 of MY money is NOT in my checking account, and I have been assessed late fees for non-payment. The CEO Eric Jenkins has been in charge less than 6 months and is in charge of this debacle. He owes every one of the members an explanation, in public, in person. Stop pretending we don't know what's going on. Issuing generic messages at random times for "patience" are disingenuous and a waste of my reading time. Give us SPECIFICS on what you, Jenkins, are personally instructing your hapless inept credit card vendor to do to fix this debacle. You have created a financial mess the likes of which many of us have never seen in a credit union. My CU experience started in 1981, and will end with Achieva - one way or another.

PLUS 0% financing for 12 months! And 2% cash back on every purchase. Well, that was an offer I couldn't refuse. I signed up for the credit card. I spent the $500. I got 200 bucks! The next offer to show up was $400 cash back if you open a checking account and have direct deposits that total over $1000 in the first three months. PLUS $0 cost for the checking account if you direct deposit more than $500 per month. Another offer I couldn't refuse. My old bank used to have a branch right around the corner from my house. They closed it. Now I have to drive several miles to go to the next closest location. Wells Fargo has a bank 1.5 miles away from my house, so switching makes sense. Now there is a little bit of a pain and bother of switching direct deposits and all that other kind of stuff but Marilyn at Wells Fargo made it all easy. $400 is a nice incentive, too!

They refused to connect me with with the load department because I didn't have an account with them. Are you kidding me??? How do you people stay in business?? How do you even get business?? Let alone in-person visits. We made the appointment yesterday after calling several branches to find one to take us in. With an appointment set for 3pm we arrived with our witness at 2:55pm. The bank had 1 notary working (who our appointment was with) but it seems he had been caught up with a particularly difficult project. He finally signed our papers around 3:40. The bank is following CDC guidelines well, I felt completely comfortable in that regard. Overall this visit was fine. I just would have appreciated some more straightforwardness as opposed to the annoying corporate "we will service you in a moment" BS. It was very disingenuousness and fairly off-putting. I'm used to Chase Bankers being much more engaging and well, relatable. Glad they are taking notary visits at this time.

I was told by the representative at this bank that I shouldn't use on line transfers but to go into the bank or send a check. HELLO?? I later was told the money was sent back to the original financial institution. I called and they had no record of it being sent back. Then, 4 days later, it showed up in my account. I decided to close my account because of the shoddy service. Now, I had $150k in the account. I was told I would get a check. After 2 weeks, I called and was told it takes a while. Then, after 3 weeks, I called the branch again. My calls were not being returned. I decided to call the central number to get the status of my check. Then, I was told the check was is suspension because they had to make a 3-way call with me and the original financial institution to verify that the account I transferred the money from was really mine. I can't believe that!! Okay, so, why didn't someone call me to tell me that? The only way I found out was through my call asking for the status of my check. The rep at the this Chase Branch, did nothing!! In fact, she ghosted me for being concerned that they "lost" my $50k. I later heard of others having dealt with her saying she was so incompetent. How does a bank keep someone like that??

After moving to Illinois, I tried opening a business account online--it failed. I called for help and was told I had to go in-person. So I drove 2 hours to the nearest listed branch, only to find it was just an investment office. They said the nearest full branch is in Chicago--11 hours away. I explained that I have a published book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, and I need a business account so my customers can pay me. The rep told me to fly back to Florida or drive 28 hours. I'm 69, legally blind, and caring for a 1-year-old. That response was not only useless, it was cruel. On top of that, Wells Fargo closed my unused $11,000 credit card, which had a $0 balance, and slashed my credit score by 100 points for no reason. You've already been fined in the past for opening unauthorized accounts in my name. I still gave you another chance--and again, you delivered nothing but barriers. Wells Fargo Seminole, Florida, has officially lost a loyal customer. You don't help people--you humiliate them. 1 star is too generous.

I love this bank & the staff. They go out of their way for their customers. Recently a check was…read morecopied and run thru my account fraudulently for almost $2000. Bank OZK caught it that day. They called me, locked account until rest of my checks cleared, opened new account, transferred my $, gave new high quality checks & deposit stamp very quickly. Abbey & staff at this branch are always ready with a smile & provide awesome service. Highly recommend them.

I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. They only have lobby hours for less than 7 hours a day…read moreMonday-Friday. They are only open Saturday for 3 hours at one location downtown where it is extremely busy on Saturday and you can't find parking. I bet this is a great place to be an employee however as they always have tons of workers sitting around. They also have discriminated against me and my husband but the details of that are private and hurtful.
