Two months ago, I came in for an ultrasound that I scheduled with the front desk, but upon arrival, they couldn't find my appointment and sent me home. This happened to several other people who came in with me. Today, they were unable to give me results because of more IT issues due to the switch to Solis. The pink building used to be a reliable provider; it is no longer. If you are looking for an stress-free experience, please look for another provider. 0/10 would not recommend.

I decided to take the leap of faith and make an appointment. I am glad that I did. I live in Apopka and this office is less than 10 minutes away from me, so its location was important, They have late hours until 8pm on weekdays and are open on the weekend. If you are familiar with the Advent Health system, all of your medical information is accessible through their website or their app you can download on your phone. I love that if I get bloodwork done at one of their locations, it's almost immediately available in their portal. I can access my past appointments and if I have ever gone to a Centra Care or the Advent ER, all of that is available. So far it's been great. Even if I don't always see the same doctor, all of the notes are in the system. Every time I have had an appointment, the doctor or the assistant has been very caring, helpful and informative.

I was able to get into central Florida eye clinic within a few days. My first thought was, it's possible that the practice isn't great with no waiting for an appointment. However, everything about both of my visits was great! The office is nice and clean, the front desk girl is super sweet and she helps with some tests and such. Dr. Kazi was very thorough, has amazing bedside manner and is conservative in his treatment plan. I appreciate that in a Dr, as some might suggest to just cut your eye out. I was pleased to see they had numerous openings and I was able to schedule my appointment at a time convenient with my schedule. I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism upon arrival, and the check-in process was easy and quick. The clinical medical assistant was friendly and welcoming and best of all, the doctor I ended up seeing, Dr. Mena, was exceptional! She was communicative, attentive, and an excellent listener and made my visit feel as if it were "tailor-made". Overall, my interaction with those I encountered (front desk, medical assistants, the doctor, and laboratory techs) were positive. Best of all, I later found out that this clinic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community with passion, compassion and integrity, all of which were evident during my scheduled visit. I feel that the most important thing in finding a good doctor is finding one who really listens to you and understands whatever problem you are having. They must understand you problem before they can treat you. My favorite is Alexandra Sloan, PA-C. She has seen me through breast cancer, gallbladder, and any number of minor infections and other health related issues. The office is run by a wonderfully organized group of people. So you don't have long waits but you also don't feel rushed. I feel like they have my best interests at heart!

I am very impressed with both the staff at the Dr's office, as well as Dr. Ruggerio himself. I didn't wait for anything more then a few minutes at any point in time, even in the actual waiting room, which is where the majority of patients are kept suffering in my experience. I was called in within ten minutes to a room, and seen almost immediately by Dr. Ruggerio. Not only did he have a very thorough understanding of my RA, he also did an in-depth analysis of my medical history to make some recommendations that would help manage RA better. Unlike some other doctors, he really spent time getting to know my medical history and helping me out. I didn't feel at any point in time like he felt rushed or bored and ready to move on to the next patient. Imagine; a doctor that actually CARES about his patients and not just his pocket. The staff follow up was excellent as well. The nurse sat with me to look up some specialists in the area (I was still travelling to NY to see my rhematologist a few times a year), and called a few days later to check in. They are extremely fast at getting back to you when you call with concerns or are in need of refills, and also fill prescriptions via Blackberry on the spot. Now that's service!
