I made an appointment, confirmed via text, and drove to the office. During the pandemic, you're required to call when you arrive and they'll let you into their space. Was very confused because I was literally asking them to open the door for me, standing AT THEIR OFFICE. They let me in, but it felt like they didn't want me there. When I got there I waited like 3 minutes (I think I was the only customer) for the doc to see me. My consultation was on laser hair removal but dr.anu quickly let me know I was not a good candidate (apparently you have to be super hairy with thick dark hair). It was literally a 5 minute interaction and then I left. On one hand I nearly felt it a waste to have come to the office, but on the other, I appreciated that she was honest and didn't try to sell me on anything. I'd say based on the consultation alone, I didn't really find this place comforting or friendly at all. However, it might have just been because of the pandemic? By the end of the consult Dr Igor was upset with me that I didnt immediately accept and pay for a treatment. I wasnt sure if I wanted to do it that day since I was not told that I would be doing a treatment, just a consult. So I hesitated and he became angry. He told me how his time is so valuable being a doctor and he could have been walking on the boardwalk. He then told me if I came back I would need to pay for a package of treatments in advance instead of paying for each treatment as I got it. He wanted to charge me $180 for one lip and chin treatment and acted like this was a good deal. Well I found an American plastic surgeon, impressive schooling and resume, only 45 minutes from here who put out a promotion to introduce his patients to laser hair removal that lets me get 6 treatments on lip/chin for $129. So goodbye Dr Igor. Oh and by the way the "med spa" is a podiatrist office with a room that has a laser machine in it. It is hot and uncomfortable and very unappealing.
