I did not have a good experience. My first visit I was in the clinic for a total of 15 minutes. Gave me Trizepatide and sent me out the door. Now seeing as this is a weight loss clinic wouldn't one think you would get weighed ? 2nd month increased the dosage and no weight taken. 3rd month i had to wait a few minutes for my appointment and the gal at the front desk said " lets get your weight" Well this is new seeing as i was never weighed at my previous appointments switched to Retatrutide 3 months and no weight loss not even decreased food noise. I said I didn't have one and if they are requiring one,they should provide one. She cut me off when I said I was vaccinated and had the booster. She just acted like a MAJOR you know what. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. I have tried HCG injections several times in the past from another medspa and had excellent results. Tried at Medshape and pretty sure I was injecting water. I thought maybe it was my body not reacting to the medication anymore, so I decided to give MedShape another chance. I ordered Tirzepatide and again no results and I'm working out so much every day. I've contacted the clinic with my concerns, and they told me to consume fewer calories. That's not going to be sustainable and I'm barely eating 1,500 calories a day and walking over 11,000 steps a day. It doesn't add up. I having been going to MedShape for almost 6 months now, I am happy to say the staff at the Maple Grove clinic is very sincere and do not judge you if you have a slip up one week. They understand the program and have shared their struggles and tips to stay on track as well. Cheryl is so accommodating with my work schedule that she will see me early ( before the clinic opens) and I know she does this with a lot of other patients to make sure we stay on track and hold us accountable. I initially went to my first appointment thinking I knew all about dieting and the program I wanted. After meeting with Cheryl and really listening to her recommendations, I really did not know what I thought I knew. The food is whole natural foods, no frozen or cardboard box meals. I lost 33 pounds in 7 weeks! The program works as long as you make your weekly appointments and follow the eating plan. By the way, the meal plan is real food which to me is a plus. They teach you how to eat right and how to keep your weight off. That is what I needed. The staff is very encouraging and full of tips to help through the process. I went to the Eagan location off of Denmark and it was a joke! By far the worst customer service I have ever seen! I also spoke with the Maplegrove location a bunch of times as well (also incredibly unhelpful). I wrote a review on The Better Business Bureau's website but it conveniently was taken down. They avoid giving refunds at all costs! I called the very next day after signing up on a whim and they said they would call me back the next day. I didn't receive a call so I called again and was told the same thing. I physically went in multiple times as well. This went on for a couple of weeks. I was even told they would have corporate call me. Never heard from them. I ended up filing a dispute through my bank. read more

Unprofessional staff and office. The program only works if you follow the meal plan which limits your carb intake. Essentially to lose weight you would need to reduce the amount of dairy and carbs you eat. With that said, I don't know how much of the supplements that are provided to you in a ziploc bag, and shots work. My thought is it is a placebo. Also, the Maple Grove location is very disorganized and the staff could use some training on "bedside manners" and customer service. The ladies are young and wear black sweats. I suggest that they completely change the wardrobe requirement from sweats to maybe "black scrubs" that nurses and aesthetician's wear. The office, is not very inviting and could use a change in the layout as the current set-up is not efficient nor does it flow. In addition, the advice that the ladies provide could have more "value" if they understood nutrition, rather than reading from a pre-assembled work packet as each person's dietary needs are different. Not everyone, is able to lose weight following the same "meal" plan. This is my 4th visit to this clinic location, and each visit has had a packed waiting room which leaves most clients left standing. This wouldn't be that bad if they were not ALWAYS running a minimum of 30 minutes behind and typically 45 min behind. This a very frustrating as you can not plan anything near your appointment time due to unreal wait times. Clinicis obviously understaffed and have difficulty with time management. read more

I had a chance to meet with the clinic manager and other ladies on staff and was quite pleased with the service. I was prompted immediately to be taken back to a room for my appointment. I met with a counselor right away and felt happy that she was inviting and seemed excited to help me. I like how they seem aware of my personal needs and make the proper adjustments to suit them. When i left, they ask me about my kids and dog and seem to have a good feel and relationships with their clients. I am happy to be part of this center and am hopeful for my success to continue. I went to the MG location and after 12 weeks, I started to get numbness from my waist all the way down to both my legs and feet from what the shots. I called them several times to inquire and no one would return my call, which now they have left me no choice but to give the public a review of this place. The numbness, tingling and pins and needles feeling is intense and still dealing with it and still no return calls. Please do your research before starting this program. I got the groupon for this place but was pretty disappointed. 1) they immediately try to up-sell you on more/"better" injections (vit B12). The regular injections did nothing for me, so you need to shell out more dough for the ones that actually work. They don't tell you what exactly is in them.... 2) I mentioned several times at the beginning that I wad a vegetarian and it was hard for me to eat ad much protein as they recommend. Only on the third time did someone offer me a vegetarian protein cheat sheet! Around my 4th week I saw staff give someone a recipe book - hey, that would have been useful for me on week 1! 3) I bought all kinds of healthy food for the diet, but on week 2 was told I should eat less/no fruit due to the sugar, now what do do with all this fruit I bought, uhhh? The diet plan they give you indicates 3 meals and three snacks, but staff told me to eat 6 small meals. Confusing! 4) Appts- every employee does everything differently, some ask you how the diet is going, and some just weigh you and give you your shot. Some of them subtract 1 or 2 lbs from the scale because you are in your clothes/shoes, some don't. The last time I went I complained about the inaccuracy of this so I just gave the weight I took at home that day so it would be accurate for once. 5) They seem to be short staffed or running behind most of the time. I am always on time but had to wait up to 45 mins for a 5 min injection appt. Waste of time and money! read more

I just wanted to give an update on my final experience. Two weeks in they offered me additional supplements that were meant to help with fat reduction in the hips and thighs, I paid $45...and started my wait. The next week no supplements, I was told they forgot to order them, another week goes by,still nothing....fast forward four weeks and they finally gave me my money back because apparently "they are hard to get" I did all 12 weeks of the program,strictly sticking to the diet, but was not losing. Only one staff member made me feel like she was listening and concerned, the rest just rushed through my appointment and made me feel bad that I was not losing. In a nutshell, I spent over $600 for the hcg injections I gave myself and the B12 shots I received once a week in the office....for a grand total of 8 pounds lost. I have started atkins and have lost 7.5 pounds in 4 days. Atkins and Medshape are both low carb diets, I would recommend trying atkins online for free before trying this business. They also just put out another groupon, so I have a feeling weight times will get insane for the next two months again. read more
