I tried the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage for the first time, and I really enjoyed it! It was nice to have areas worked that are normally skipped with Swedish and other types of massages. And that's not all... I used to go to a couple of different franchises as a member, and House of Harmony is so much better! To start, there was no one at the front desk for quite some time and our massage started a little late. After leading us into our room and asking us to undress, they knocked like 10 minutes later and made it seem as though we were supposed to have come out of the room and let them know we were ready. After asking if we were ready, they started laughing and whispering to each other as they were coming back in. Then it got even worse. My massage therapist used improper draping techniques and my lower half was exposed. She also kept using her elbow to massage my hamstring/glutes & kept pushing all the way into my groin in an inappropriate way. I simply couldn't believe it. It was a pretty terrible experience and I won't be returning. My partner's massage went well, but my therapist must have been new or something, as I would like to think she didn't have any ill intent.
