During the years I've been an ITM client, I've been with three masseuses, Emma & Ling (both have now moved on to other business opportunities that I know they'll be successful at) and now, I'm with Lina who's absolutely wonderful with her caring attitude and excellent massage technique. All three have provided me with some of the absolute best deep tissue massages I've ever had as the end results have been a notable increase in my flexibility and greatly reduced osteoarthritis pain and stiffness. Upon entering the spa lobby, guests are welcomed by a large freshwater fish tank. Inside the nicely appointed and clean spa, soft and relaxing music enhances the calm and inviting atmosphere. The massage area has six private massage rooms as well as several foot massage chairs/couches with curtains. Additionally, there is a unisex bathroom which is always very neat and clean. Lastly, when checking out, each customer is offered a nice cool and refreshing bottle of water. She takes time to listen to my concerns and finding problem on my body. The massage performed outstanding, from neck to feet, worked all the joints, absolutely relaxing and totally felt my body is on the good hands. The room is clean and cozy. The music is relaxing. I did fell in sleep for a few seconds during massage, but forcing myself to not sleep thru, so I could enjoy the massage. I purchased a 90 minutes massage and she performed fully 90 minutes massage. I very appreciated she did that and made every minute worth. After the massage, she told me both of my legs has problem, then she demonstrate two exercise to me, so I could do it at home to improve my legs. If you haven't had a medical massage yet, you really need to try one out. I don't even get…read moretraditional massages anymore. I'd rather have my girl Tyea(she's a wizard)go straight to work on my problem areas rather than have someone blindly go over my whole body with broad strokes like you will get in an old school massage. It's like a scalpel vs a samurai sword. My body gives me a lot of good feedback in the way of endorphins/oxytocin/etc when I get some nice focused pressure right on some scar tissue or super tight areas, so I much prefer the precision that these types of massages offer. Feeling good during the massage is great, but the real benefit is the aftereffects. Since coming to see Tyea several areas have improved. Things just work better. I can stretch my diaphragm more deeply, more core engagement, gait is faster and longer, more external rotation of my hips and shoulders, knees don't hurt when I get up after sitting long periods, no more neck pain, mewing is better(tongue posture), no more peripheral neuropathy, less scar tissue, just to name a few things. Most people have no idea how good they could feel, and that they have adapted and gotten used to a certain level of dysfunction. It's easy to do in today's world. Glad I have some amazing tools in my toolbox like this to help me stay on my grind
