I have been coming here for about 8 years and each time I go it gets a little bit worse. I was there today and the place was FILTHY. There were scents beads all over the floor, used dryer sheets on the floor, overflowing garbage pails and worst of all, a family of 3 kids having a "picnic" of McDonalds right in the aisle where the wash machines are. Absolutely disgusting. The attendant working there didnt come out from behind the counter at all. Many of the washers and dryers are out of service. When Diane worked here the place was immaculate. Now its a dump. I will definitely be going elsewhere. read more

Because I'm in New York pretty regularly, I like to do things like the locals do. My friend's mom had a bunch of items that needed to be washed so we made sure we used a full day to get everything done. Because this is completely different from back home in Florida, I always expect laundromats to be in rough areas but this location was great and the bright lights made it even better.The staff was very friendly and made sure we knew how to use the extra large machines. The owner Jordan was very friendly and after recognizing my friend he mentioned to her that he is making lots of improvements to help improve the space. OMG... HOW WE MISS "ARTIE"!!! Firstly, many 'thank yous' to him; we had it so very good. Secondly, prayers for continued healing & strength! I've been using this laundromat since its 1st year. It was professionally run and cared for. Machines would be repaired, floors swept and cleaned and overall quality and safe place. But due to an ownership change, all of those areas+ had been negatively differed. Little a/c in the summer, little heat in the winter. The carts for moving the clothes are on 2 and 3 wheels. There are even less carts. Washers and driers stay out of service for long periods of time. Daily specials have been done away with. And the cycles; wash, rinse and spin, aren't the same from 1 machine to the next. read more

I started using Mega Wash in the spring. I used to go to another laundromat on deer park ave and I'm glad bI made the switch. Most recently I visited to do my laundry here during a heat wave, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The air conditioning was on and kept the place cool. They have a bunch of new laundry carts that made moving my clothes around super easy, and there were around 40 carts in total, so there were plenty to go around. Been going for 5 years but the last month or so lots of washers and dryers are out of service and not fixed. Used to be very clean but no more. Not enough carts and clothes are left in dryers for hours and you can't get a dryer. Time to go somewhere else. read more

Open 24 hours always have carts available "when i show up it does" and free dryers 30 min washes so your in and out! Definitely recommend this location to get your clothes done fast read more

I gave it a two star cause I like the prices you pay for a washer and get free drying but the employee here overnight is a rude man I can not stand coming at early in the morning just because of him . The last time I was here he tried to steal my detergent . Now I'm back here again in my car cause he cursed me out because I step on his mopped I felt bad but I needed to get my clothes and there was still garbage on the floor said sorry cause I made two footprints in his mopped area than he say you blind f this f that nasty attitude . And he's always drinking on his shift I'm tired of his nasty attitude but I won't come during the day no way to get my clothes done too many people smh read more

It says "Free dry with wash" it's not free you have to earn points. Expensive place if you ask me. There's actual places that do free dying without earning points.like 5 carts on a gigantic laundry mat and the people hold them for themselves while waiting for their laundry to finish so you can't even freaking use one. I come all the way from Brentwood to Mega Wash in Deer Park, its about a 20 min ride to come but its worth it. The only disappointment is that there is no carts aviable, they should have more carts or have a big sign stating carts are only used for clothing.. I seen carts used just for plastic bags and for a being a nice person i dont take the bags out and take the cart but its not respectful for others! read more

This place has the worst employee's, I went inside and walked up to the counter, waited for at least 10 minutes nobody said hello or seemed to be working there, so my boyfriend came in and looked for somebody who did, turns out the lady's who were directly behind me were employee's and they were right by the counter and saw me and gave me dirty looks. I needed to wash my comforter and it was just too big to put it in the home washing machine so I went to this place. I don't normally go to laundromats so I wasn't familiar w/how to use their big machines. Luckily the attendant that was working there saw me reading the instructions by the soap dispenser and she came over and immediately helped me. I mean REALLY helped me. I felt so stupid I didn't know the basics, but she told me the best soap to buy, exactly what size machine was best and would cost me the least and even just GAVE me a $1 coupon. I didn't even ask! She then told me the dryers were always free and showed me how to use them too. Always free?? I was honestly so taken back by how friendly she was when I knew nothing about the place and how much she helped me. I thought she may have been the owner since she cared so much, but she said she just worked there. She really made my trip here MUCH easier and really pleasant. The customer service there was better than I ever would've imagined. I just also read what the other 2 reviews said below and I can't believe this was the same place. RUDE RUDE RUDE! I own an event business in Long Island and I needed to have a bunch of linens laundered after a big event. My assistant called this place, because they are close by, and spoke with them and they said no problem, come by tomorrow and drop off and we can take care of it. I went to drop off the linens and the lady working there literally started yelling BEFORE I WAS EVEN IN THE DOOR! "Oh my god, are you Dropping OFF??? " She was so rude, telling me I had to pay up front in cash before she would take my laundry. Then she starting weighing the laundry in the plastic bins. I asked her if she could take off a lb or two for the weight of the bins. She said "We weigh whatever the laundry is in, so if you don't want us to weigh them in the bins, bring them in bags!" I tried to get the money out of the ATM at the laundromat twice and it wouldn't dispense any cash. I told her I'd have to go get the cash and come back, to which she replied "Well I'm not starting this order until we get PAID!" She was so rude about EVERYTHING that I said to her obviously such a large order was an inconvenience for her, so I grabbed the 4 bins and 2 bags of linens and walked out. I found a great laundromat down the road and when they weighed my laundry for payment, their weight was 60LBS LESS THAN THIS PLACE! 60 LBS! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE, EVER AGAIN! read more

So if I had written this review a month ago, it would probably have 4 or 5 stars. I've been coming here for about 3 years, but I chose to write the review now because of some "new staff" that recently started and brought her attitude along with her. According to some older staff my husband and I have become friendly with, this new girl is the owners grand daughter because they want to make it a family establishment. So far, it's a fail. The first interaction with her, my husband was dropping off laundry... it was in 2 bags for convenience. She tried to tell him it would be extra because he had 2 bags and it's a $15 minimum. To accommodate her math skills, he took the little bit that was in bag number 2 and just put it in bag number one. She had a bunch of her friends sitting in the back, looking incredibly high, and eating tons of McDonald's. Very professional. Upon pick up around 10pm that night, there was an older staff finishing our load because the granddaughter did not do it. My husband actually offered to help fold because he felt bad. When I dropped clothes off today, I asked when it would be done, same young lady says i don't know probably later. I said, will it be done today? And she said I don't know probably. With her same pleasant (I use that word sarcastically) attitude. I just chuckled and walked out. Now, given are clothes are still nicely folded and hung... usually by the nice young woman that comes in on the evening shift, the attitude this new young lady gives to the customers seems unwarranted and would not be tolerated if I was the business owner, family or not. Unfortunately for the good staff, they seem overwhelmed by the left over work ms attitude doesn't do but have said they can't say anything because her family is the owner. the prices are great, and dry is free, but costumer services is horrible, I had an experience where the change machine was broken the lady there just look at me and said "no change" and keep doing her thing, I looked at her like can you give me change and she responded "I have no change" like a laundry with no change how can I put money on my card to do laundry ? read more

Worst worst worst. Machines smell bad...like rotten mildew. You have to put money on a card, quarters are not used. When you attempt to put money on the card, machine just takes your money and does not add to your card. Attendant acts like she/he has no idea what to do and like you are a scam artist or says "you shouldn't put crumpled bills in machine". Which I did not. So I just lost a bunch of money and wasted tons of time. read more
