Bill- breaker and change machines available. Both the washers and dryers are large capacity and kept in good repair. Great whether you choose self-service or drop-off. I've been fortunate enough to not have to use a laundromat since college, so had no clue what to expect, but a friend in the area recommended KP Laundromat to me. There are plenty of machines and even on a Saturday late morning had plenty open. Coin-op only but there are change machines for $1-20 bills, and a bill breaker. You can also purchase detergent but I had brought my own. Washers range from $3.75 for a small, $6 for a medium, and then maybe $8 or $9 for a large washer. Dryers are . $.25 for 8 minutes for the non-heavy duty. Lots of parking, places to sit, but also seemed like people were comfortable leaving their items and coming back. read more

This was my go to laundromat for years. Over the last two years they never have money in the cash machine, the machines are always broken and the laundromat is just plain dirty. The machines smell often. Obviously no one is cleaning out the machines especially where you put in the soap. A lot of times there's mildew on the covers. The staff is sweet. They are not the owners. I have only seen the owner's come in and take the quarters and leave. read more

It's disgraceful what happened. Been using company to pick up and drop off laundry for awhile. It was bought over by new ownership. Apparently, they never received a payment. While I was at work, owner barged into my home and demanded money from my senior mother. She felt threatened because he was yelling at her. I told her if he shows up again call the police because he's starting to extort money out of my elderly mother. The company never provided any receipts or records. Will never use again. read more

So because of Hurricane Sandy, i haven't had power for over 175 hours now. It was definitely time for some laundry after a long week! Living in Northport, I decided to drive with what little gas I had all the way to Kings Park. ( the ones in my area were either closed or too small) Ive used many laundromats in the past while i was living in Philadelphia and NYC, and this is the best laundromat that I've been too yet! Very clean, decent prices, A LOT of washing machines/dryers (that work!), friendly staff, plenty of change and bill breaking machines, cable television, free wifi, ATM, wash/fold service, huge folding areas/tables, open 24/7, and overall, offers a pleasant laundering experience ( yes, that's actually possible here haha). Will definitely return again during the next blackout and I encourage anyone who's looking for a laundromat to absolutely visit as well! read more

I've been to a number of different laundromats. This one is probably as good as it gets. Everyone who works here is super nice, and will help you with whatever you need whether it's opening the door for you if they see you coming in with a large basket or giving you a hand with the machines if you have a problem. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 but Yelp doesn't give you the option for half-stars. Here's why it gets dinged half a star for me. This place had free WiFi but it seems they got rid of it (There is Optimum WiFi coverage however so you can still get online if you are an Optimum subscriber). The other one is that the machines are not the newest around and there's usually a couple of them that are not working. I think that's true of most laundromats in the area so I can't really complain. They make up for it by having lower prices and the machines have a dual rinse cycle instead of just rinsing once. In terms of Pro's for here...This place is huge, has air conditioning in the summer, there are a lot of washers and dryers (Although 10 of the dryers are for staff since they offer drop off service). There's also plenty of parking which is seldom full. read more

This place is just excellent. I love coming here. The owner is super sweet, helpful, and kind. I love that it's open 24/7. It really helps alot and is very convenient. There are TV's, an arcade, change and bill machines, and vending machines, as well as an ATM. There are also tons of tables and chairs to sit at and a small area for younger children with toys for them. I highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

I wanted to try Kings Park, which is further than my local laundromat in Commack, and I'm glad I did! I was there at 4:30pm on a Thursday. The cavernous, KP facility looks brand new, with clean walls, floors, machines, and even the restroom! There is a ton of free parking, and you may use either the front or back door. The friendly staff helped me decide which machine to use for my 20 lb load (all garage/handyman dirty towels (no fuel on them; just dirt, grime, grease, cleaning ammonia)). There are lots of standard machines, a few double-load machines, and a handful of triple-loaders; very few were out-of-order or reserved for the staff for customers (you may leave your laundry to be done by them; I didn't check the price for that, since I never use such service). The triple loader fit the bill. It cost $10, which is the going rate (make sure to select the temperature BEFORE putting in the coins, or it'll auto-set to "hot"; the on-machine instructions indicate that, but, somehow I missed it! (maybe I need new glasses, but the print is kind of small!) Fortunately, "hot" is exactly what I wanted!). About 24 minutes later, the towels came out surprisingly drier than I had thought they would (my home washer would have left quite a bit of water in the towels, and I would have had to do three loads). I put the towels into one of the wheeled carts (not a lot of them, but, plenty for the small number of people that were there; I noticed a lot of washers and dryers had stopped with clothes in them, but, in all the time I was there, they were not removed; yet, there were still plenty of available machines). The dryers cost 25 cents for 8 minutes. I pulled out the long filter, and removed a small handful of fluff (I've been to laundromats where they lock the filter to prevent people from doing that to prevent inadvertent damage; either this machine wasn't used much or they take care to clean it, occasionally (I didn't see evidence of that the hour I was there, but, maybe they don't need to do so)). I fed the huge machine - - again, tons of them! - - 3 coins, and the towels came out quite dry, but, not as fluffed-up as I would have liked (they're old towels, but, I think my home dryer does a better job on the fluffing); however, that's a tiny complaint. There are plenty of chairs and tables to read or sort/fold on. There's a small kids area, and a few vending machines, though the biggest one - - a snack machine - - was out of order. There's a deli and bakery right across the street, so, you won't starve or die of thirst! The bathroom is huge and comfortable and clean, but, there was no toilet paper in the, apparently, broken dispenser, and the soap dispenser was only half full (half empty?), and the hand dryer/blower was hot, but, way too slow (the restroom was the only reason I subtracted a star, and I would rather have taken off just a half one for that). The place is well lit, the customers seemed friendly (I smiled at people; they smiled back), the staff was all smiles despite being busy, I felt perfectly safe, and, the place was surprisingly quiet, despite the busy road and interior noises. I may not come here all the time, but, it was, definitely, worth the trip! read more

24 hours, friendly staff if you have any isssues, hands down one of the best laundromats I have been to, and yes the dryers work well.

I didn't really appreciate how nice this place was til I went to one closer to home (read lucky 7 review). This place is clean and spacious. There are tables to sit at if you want to read a book or newspaper, and there's a vending machine if you want a snack. The owners are lovely and offer a ready smile. I Have been using this laundromat for many years. The men who work there are very nice but the lady is quick to blame you for any problems that arise. Just before Christmas 2018 I was doing my laundry as usual. I went to take out my sheets from dryer that held sheets only and they were all ruined by the dryer. Either something came out of the dryer itself or someone had left something that I did not see when I put my clothes in. I immediately went to the lady and she proceeded to tell me without even looking at my sheets that it was my fault because I did not fluff my sheets periodically because it was resting on the glass. The stuff that was on my sheets was hard and discolored everything even the bounce sheets that I put in. She never put a sign on dryer to warn people about dryer. I asked for the manager and she gave me 2 names Ray and Don . I asked for owner telephone number and she gave me 631-269-5086. I was absolutely furious. I went home and called number only to find out it was the laundromat number. I finally reached Ray the manager and he told me to call back which I did. I have now called this place at least 6 times always to be told to call back. They refuse to give me the owner number. This is not any way to run a business unless its for profit only. I would not recommend this place if that's how they treat there customers. If anyone know this owners name or phone number I would appreciate it because I am now looking to take him to small claims court. Sheets are not cheat It costed me 250.00 to replace 2 sets.
