First stop was the deli. The mortadella with pistachio was beautiful. The prosciutto San Danielle was by far the best that I've ever had. We got some baby mozzarella made with buffalo milk. The flavor was bright and unlike anything I get in the states. Cherry tomatoes from Sicily, half of a loaf of bread casareccio, and some green olives rounded out the meal. We got some red wine, local strawberries and blueberries and were happy about our finds. In the back corner we found confetti candy with chocolate, turrone, and other candy to take home as gifts. I wish I bought more as everyone wanted some once we got home. The quality was really good. I've been home for a week and grocery shopping has been depressing. There is not the same quality of food anywhere to be found. I would definitely shop at the Coop when I'm back in Abruzzo in the future.

This is another really cool Grocery store in Itlay. More…read moremodern than some with carts and open a lot more hours than the other stores. However, it is also very crowded, we came here on a Saturday morning. Same as the rest of the world they were busy. I did see a lot of cool things, but also spotted candy from China and food from USA. Not very Much what I am looking for on my Itlaian shopping experiance. However ,I did some awesome deals on some bottles of correcto here. Really good prices and a large selection. Lots of parking in the lot, but we walked up here.

We had our holiday home just a few blocks from here. At first it did look a bit small from outside…read more And it actually is not that big. The lanes are quite narrow, but that's fine. But it really got everything we needed....and quite more products than we expected. A nice meat / cheese and fresh bread counter with great quality products. A nice array of wine and liquor and a good and reasonable priced veggie/fruit section. And of course all the other basic food items and household products like bread, pasta, rice, frozen products, all the mosquitoe repellents and candles you need. It's a chain, so you can be sure the products are fair priced. There's another big advantage this store has over other shops in town: it does NOT close for lunchbreak. Open through! Staff is nice and helpful as well. We enjoyed their meat products very much (ham, salami, cured ham etc.). Cheese was also great.
