I booked a 90 minute massage with Megan while visiting Weaverville for a weekend retreat. She was responsive and flexible to work around my retreat schedule timing. I really appreciated that. Her massage was absolute bliss! She found my hidden tight spots that I thought were sorted and smoothed them out. She did things for my neck with confidence and skill that brought ease and relief in a way I've never experienced before in a typical massage. And the coup de grâce was Reiki streaming through it all. I highly recommend Megan for massage!! read more

Megan is a healer and in my 15+ years of yoga experience, she's by far the best yoga teacher I've ever had. Her classes helped me strengthen physically and mentally. Numerous times she guided me through some of the darkest days of my life with carefully curated movement and intentional, intuitive guidance. If you have the opportunity to work with Meg, do it. Wow! I had such an amazing Reiki session with Megan yesterday. Megan truly has a healing gift. I recently lost a loved one and am in a very dark place. Magical Megan brought me some much need clarity and helped me find some meaning that I truly needed. The session was over Zoom which makes the fact that she was able to connect so deeply even more incredible. I can't imagine how an in-person session would be. I am on the West Coast so in-person was not an option for us right now, if you're local to Megan, I cannot express how highly I recommend seeing her for Reiki, Yoga and massage. **By appointment only, please call for availability** I specialize in making all people feel comfortable and safe as we journey into the body to discover the ways in which it holds our life experiences and mental stress. I address the connection of the body to the mind and spirit through astrology, yoga, and energy work. It is an honor to guide people home to themselves as a way of healing our pain and suffering, especially from our childhoods or adverse challenges we have survived from our past.

History

Established in 2000.

I first practiced in Boulder Colorado for many years prior to moving to CT in 2010, and now offering my services in Asheville NC. With over 20 years in practice, my experience and extensive education set me apart from the rest. I am dedicated to be a forever student to stay on the highest level of healing for my clients to be of service in the best ways I can.

It is with great passion that I guide clients into the body as a journey of healing our pasts and our limiting beliefs that keep us from living our best lives. It is an honor to bring people into their bodies to gain clarity and connection to the power we all possess to shift our energy and health into equilibrium. I love to educate through the practices of yoga, mediation, breath, functional range of motions, astrological birth charts, and reiki. These methods of self discovery remind us that we are energetic beings having a human experience which is empowering for us to embody higher conscious ideas and ways of behaving in the world. To truly be agents of change not only for our individual experiences but for creating a just world.

We ate lunch at the nearby Twisted Laurel, which was excellent. Things to know: Parking is not free. There are a couple of metered spaces nearby and there's a pay to park lot across the street. There are no bathrooms or changing rooms close by (that I could see). On their website it says there is a public bathroom, but I couldn't find it. There isn't a lot of shade except under the trees and on the amphitheater stage. These are really too far away to keep a good eye on a small child. Bring your sunscreen! There are no benches nearby to sit on, but there are concrete blocks so bring a towel for parents to sit on. It's a public fountain, so we were glad to have our water shoes. The fountain is advertised to have a lot of features and lights, but we didn't see any of that while we were there. The water shoots up out of the ground and doesn't change. That's enough for my preK kid, but might get boring for older ones. We brought some water toys and those were a big hit. While we were there a summer camp or daycare came through with 50 kids who were well-behaved, but they took over the amphitheater area and most of the fountain. We ended up leaving because it was just too crowded.

Megan is an honest, self-aware, physically and mentally tough practitioner. While I am not a "regular" yoga student, she reminds me to slow-down and find peace in things outside of class.
