Over 4 years have passed and this lip tattoo is still the worst beauty decision I've ever made. Mehrin has the heaviest hand because even after lots of time and $ going to someone else 7 more times to correct the botched job by trying to tone down the color, I still have purple lips. At this point I don't believe the color will ever go away. Also, that response is laughable. I absolutely did not "insist" on having the exact same color as "my friend". I showed Mehrin a picture of an Instagram influencer who I've never met or seen up close and said "I like the color of her lips; they look very natural"... if that was me "insisting" on having the exact same mixture of color as that person (who has a completely different skin tone than me) then that's seriously ridiculous. I said I wanted very natural, brownish nude, lips that didn't look like I was wearing makeup and I trusted that as the professional, she would understand color theory better than me and be able to make a recommendation. Instead, she apparently took things very literally and mixed 1 drop of nude to 2 drops of pink, resulting in purple lips- the exact opposite of natural looking on my very pale skin... Then, when she tried to fix the color at my touch up appt, I actually much preferred the color. Unfortunately, the better color disappeared after only a couple weeks and we were left with the horrible purple underneath again. I learned later ( when I was getting it corrected by someone else) that you actually have to tone down the harsh color a few times before you can try to add a completely different color on top. Wish I could give them zero stars. I cannot express how terrible my experience with this salon is. The staff are unfriendly and extremely unprofessional and they take every opportunity to charge you fees. But worst of all, they did a terrible job on my eyebrows. I really liked my eyebrows BEFORE I went here. I wanted micro blading as a little enhancement to my already nice and natural brows. NOW I AM SO SELF CONSCIOUS ABOUT MY EYEBROWS. Immediately after the treatment, I kept having panic attacks about how bad they looked. Eventually, I got bangs to cover my eye brows up and am looking into possibly getting laser tattoo removal or touch up options to help fix them. Here are more details about my experience: 1. The Eyebrows: My eyebrows actually look much better in photos but in real life she has totally over drawn the eyebrows. They look horrible and splotchy now -- and totally fake. She made them way bigger than I asked. Now I am insanely self conscious about them. 2. They Steal Your Money: I'm down to pay a lot for a good service but this place is obviously out for your money. I have a touch up appointment (during which I am really hoping Mehrin will be able to fix some of this!!!) and I had a family emergency come up and I had to reschedule my appointment. Even though I notified the staff 10 DAYS before my appointment, they charged me the $200 deposit and seemed to think they were being very generous for not charging me an addition $150 "rescheduling fee" for the booking my new appointment. 1. Extremely Unprofessional: I was nervous when I went to get my eyebrows done for the first time so I booked with Mehrin, the top technician. The first thing I noticed about Mehrin is she was wearing a lime green bra and a pleated mini skirt and nothing else! Skimpy outfits are fun but it was a little off putting to see my technician dress so unprofessionally especially as someone who is charging $1200 per treatment. Then, in the middle of the session with ink all over my face and Mehrin stops and says do you mind, it's one of the girls birthdays and we want to surprise her with a cake?" And then she proceeds to leave the room and sing happy birthday to one of her employees and give her a cake as I watch, my face covered in ink from behind the glass of the treatment room. When the treatment is finally over, she insists on spending 10 minutes taking photos of my eyebrows, presumably to post on her instagram. I know they are really booked up. I don't doubt that Mehrin is a talented eyebrow microblader. But she and her staff have really failed me. I think it's natural to make mistakes but the uncompromising customer service, excessive fees and the attitude of entitlement make this place absolutely terrible. read more

Unfortunately, I had some work done by Mehrin, and my eyebrows didn't last. I spent 1,500, and they fell off once I healed after 2 weeks. When I called her to express my concern after spending so much money getting microbladed she blamed it on me and said "I had oily skin" sadly I regret wasting my money on a person like her who only takes your money and doesn't care about her clients. Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love how natural my brows turned out. I'd been wanting to get my eyebrows microbladed for over a year now, but I was hesitant to do so because I wasn't able to find someone who did a natural brow technique. All the brows I had seen online looked very dark, and I typically don't wear makeup about 80% of the time so I didn't want them to look too harsh. BEWARE: Mehrin is a scammer. The reason I know of this business is because my friend did a modeling promotion for her and she recommended me to work with her. Mehrin has her brow and lip makeup treatments priced over $1k each. Makes sense where all the money is going to because she has an overly large office and only occupies one small working station. When I came into her office, I was feeling good about getting my treatment done until I was handed an iPad with 20 pages of documents to sign and all of a sudden it felt like I was signing documents to buy a car. I went through with getting my treatment only to find out that I really regretted it in the end. She did not allow me to curate my own brow shape and she said she has a particular style, and would not do what I truly wanted, meanwhile I already paid before my appointment...The brows that I left with were not the ones that I asked for. Also, after my lip blushing treatment, it only lasted about 2 weeks. As time went by I decided that it was not worth it to go back to her and pay another payment over 1k just for touchups. I explained how I was not happy with the treatment or how she went with her own decision for how I wanted my treatment to be done. She then said that I needed to come in to get my treatment and I refused as I did not want her to touch my face anymore. Mehrin went ahead without my authorization and charged my credit card for a treatment that I did not get. She is extremely selfish and will take your money to hang more tacky chandeliers in her office. Horrible experience I would never recommend her. read more

I had such an amazing experience at Mehrin Glam. I got my lips tattooed and I was very nervous, was it going to be extremely painful? Would I love it? Would I hate it? Would she understand exactly what I wanted even without a precise inspo photo? I originally saw an Instagram post from a famous makeup artist who trusted Mehrin to do her micro blading and lip blushing. I figured if she would trust her face I could trust mine, as a working actress for over 25+ years. I am THRILLED with the results! BEWARE!!!!!!!!! Think twice before getting your brows done here. After seeing Mehrin's work on Instagram I decided to book a consult. I explained to her the look I was going for and emphasized that as a lawyer I need a very natural look as I do not wear makeup on a daily basis. She began to assure me it will look natural and beautiful. After spending $1,500 for my first treatment (which was extremely rushed) I thought it was a bit expensive but I was willing to pay to have nice brows. I was left with extremely over the top thick dark and high eyebrows when I'm a blonde. People began to make fun of me. As I went back to see her for my touch up to see what can be done she simply told me it looks good and to just let it fade. I went in about 3 other times with the same response. I felt helpless and extremely self conscious. I was extremely self conscious for a very long time. everyone would comment about how terrible they were and how I need them removed ( I was being called the girl with the brows after all! Lol) After about a year of trying to let them fade. I decided to get them removed by tattoo removal. This will now be my 6th session of tattoo removal to get rid of all the lbs of ink she left me with. There should NEVER! be that much ink applied to any micro blading treatment ever! The tattoo removal technician was actually not surprised as she said she has many many clients she sees from Mehrin to remove the damage and work that she has performed. Please please do not go Mehrin unless you want to run the risk of having to pay over a thousand to get them done and then thousands to fix them. I understand everyone makes mistakes in business and work and things don't always come out as expected, but Mehrin did not do a thing to help. She got her payment did her work and if you aren't happy about it then that's your problem. Not a place you should ever step foot in for any treatment. Her marketing and Instagram is a fraud. The hype about Mehrin is absolutely real. She is the MASTER of eyebrow shaping and she knows immediately what works for your face. I've gone back three years in a row now for Mehrin's micro blading and could not recommend her enough! Definitely plan out your visit in advance (3-4 months) because Mehrin's calendar is jam packed. But she's totally worth it. When it comes to something as important as micro blading, I will never trust anyone else. Mehrin is the absolute best in the business. I travel all the way from Sacramento to get my brows done by mehrin. She takes her time and puts hours into making my brows perfect. I had gone to CC's permanent makeup previously and she did an okay job charged a couple hundred bucks less than mehrin to do a quick 30 minute job...they almost completely faded within 2 weeks. When you see mehrin she literally gives you HOURS of her time and she makes sure every stroke counts. Also, I have a bad previous permanent makeup done on my brows. Mehrin has to work around that ink and she is still able to do my brows on point! (I am so glad she excepted me as her client) she is upfront and honest about what she can and can't do with your brows. She gives you strict aftercare instructions.....and If you fallow her aftercare regimen for the following two weeks they don't even peel! (If you are familiar with eyebrow embroidery you know that the peeling of the ink is crucial!) If you don't take care of them properly or you wet them....you can say bye bye to that ink. So, I HIGHLY recommend Mehrin. Wait on her waiting list....it's long....yes, I know, but it's worth it.
