There is also a bbq meat section for your roast meat and a deli section for banh mi, drinks and hot food snacks. The first Thursday of the month is the busiest as you get 10% off your purchase. Free 2 hour underground parking is available. Limited parking spots. Most park on the side streets which are also free. A bus stop is also nearby.

It's a good place to pick up Korean groceries. Ironically though, I have so far only bought onigiri and seaweed for making onigiri from Kim's Mart, and Onigiri is really more of a Japanese thing than a Korean thing. Ummm...we did buy some Aloe Vera juice from Kim's Mart a couple of times. I guess that's more Korean than Japanese! Depending on the time of day and if there are any holidays, the store can be quite loud and crowded. Sometimes it's also hard to get parking spots. When on sale, the veggies are quite cheap and sometimes there are discounts on the meat too. Chicken drumsticks sometimes only cost about 98 cents per lb which is great. Compared to smaller stores, the snacks here are very cheap and the selection is huge. Recently the cooked food section turned from 2 or 3 items and rice and soup to charging by weight, which made it quite a lot more expensive. I used to choose the 2-item one alot before as it was only around $12 for a full meal, but now half the plate is around the same price. I personally like the bubble tea section fhe most as it's really cheap at around $5-6 for a drink. It's not the greatest tasting thing ever but great value for the price. Previously the cashiers all seemed to speak Chinese only (Mandarin or Cantonese), but I noticed that recently there's more people that speak English. People who shop here are mostly Asian though. They have a membership program where people can earn points, and then redeem them for rewards later. The rewards are pretty good, from snacks to tote bags to kitchen appliances.

A visit to especially catch a look at their fish / seafood area. I had been there before, but such a long while ago, a refresh of memory was in order. Wow, I was impressed. The market definitely appeared to carry a wide and fantastic selection of fresh and frozen, fish and seafood products. My interest was sure peaked by this encounter, to head back soon for a closer look, with some shopping in mind. For me, it will be their frozen products that especially receive my attention when I return. I like to have some on hand, and they certainly have a fine selection to see and choose from.
