Big fan of Meijer. Always worth a four star from me. But I actually really loved how this one was laid out. It had a certain aesthetic appeal that even the one back home doesn't have. Meijer is always out of things and it seems like they stock like they should. Anytime of the day.....Meijer is out of a lot of items. I was looking for a few things one of the last times I was at Meijer and the staff were not helpful which made me angry. I tried asking one guy for help as he was talking to people he knew and I said excuse me sir several times. The people he was talking to even looked at me and he never turned around. I found another worker and asked him and gave me one of those half answers and didn't even attempt to try looking further. I realized that Meijer is pointless. Their point system also sucks. It doesn't benefit us at all so I stopped using my number. I will stop going into Meijer altogether because I'm fed up with this store. I was lucky to find those two workers on the floor because I hardly see them when I need assistance. The older heavy set lady at the self checkout always has an attitude. I put my hand basket on the floor until I got my bag of things situated and then I was going to put it back and she snatched it up and rolled her eyes as I walked out and complained to the guy at the front. I started going to Ralph's. Well, Kroger because I use Ralph's in California and Kroger and Ralph's are the same because Ralph's is part of Kroger Co. The point system makes sense and I can easily clip and save from my app. Plus the staff are more helpful. One person at Meijer was helpful and that was a nice lady who helped me find a particular hair care product. She approached me and asked if she could help. The lady who helped me in the haircare isle is the reason for the extra star. Otherwise it would have been 1 star. read more

This is for the pharmacy. First, you shouldn't run out of any medication especially metphormin that is not expensive and abundant. 2nd. To Claire, looked like you were having a bad day or you just have no personality, when a diabetic will have to wait a week to get medication you should tell them that rather than me having to drag it out of you. I know good help is hard to find but bad help gives you 1 star. For the record. This is the only employee at this location I have had an issue with. read more

This store has become a nightmare to shop in. They have been doing renovations for mths. They aren't restocking, moved essential items to weird places... I have a difficult time getting through the store as it is due to health conditions. I was told my prescription would be ready in a couple hrs.. almost 4 hrs later still waiting?? I love this meijers because I live right here. They aren't always clean but there is a lot of foot traffic so understandable. They are under construction right now so it is hard to find anything but food is almost always fresh. Service is okay it's normal. read more

pick up is great, except for substitutes. also some of the shoppers get lazy say not available, but can go in store and find it. in store need more security , also in parking lot. since they have gotten rid of the regular cashier's some cashier's seem bothered to do their job. personally I try to only do pick up because my experiences have not been great in store and parking lot the last 2 yrs. it's sad. My favorite Meijer to shop at in Genesee County. I have to admit when it first opened the new store layout took me awhile to get use to, but after a few years or so of shopping there, I know where everything is now. I am a big coupon shopper so you can definately find some deals here (Note: They double coupons up to $.50 - max 2 like coupons per transaction) The employees are generally pleasant, but I have noticed most (of the younger ones) at the cashiers lane are pre-occupied with other conserations while waiting on customers. I'm more of an in-and-out guy when it comes to shopping so it really doesn't bother me unless it's slowing down my transaction/wait time. The level of this service has really seem to decline since it has open which I feel is a fair statement to make as I'm at this store 4-5 times a week, sometimes more. This is not a knock on all the employees at all, most at the store in a whole are very kind and extremely helpful whenever I need to ask a question about anything. Are you kidding me! As shoppers know, the store is ungoing some remodeling. Necessary? Maybe/maybe not. But it looks like they've already raised their prices to pay for it. The aisles are narrower to the point where two small shopping carts cannot fit through the aisle in the spray paint section at the same time. And seriously? $13 for a roll of bubble wrap! I shopped this morning and used a small cart filling only the top section and it cost $87! Nothing fancy, just milk, eggs, coffee creamer, bread, hand soap, bottle of Fabreeze, mac and cheese, and the over-priced bubble wrap. Aldi's here I come. read more

Great location right off of Irish Rd. next to I-69. It's clean and well laid out. The staff is usually pretty friendly. They have a very nice produce section and a great wine selection. I would give this 5 stars but the last 2 times that I have gone to use the bottle return area there were 3 machines full and beeping with no one giving them any attention. read more

Went in the store today, more then 10 people walking around not wearing masks and store associates seen them and said nothing. Got in argument with some maskless guy and he wanted to fist fight in store . LOL, dude was like 35-40s and still wants to fight anyone that does not agree. Told me I should watch myself ; anyway, will not be back to this store ever. It's terrible that they cannot enforce the mandates that are in place. I FINALLY got a great cashier! Taylor bagged my groceries the way they should be bagged...she didn't put 15 canned goods in ONE bag and she kept my refrigerated/frozen together. I put my groceries up on the conveyor the way I want them bagged, but they never seem to end up that way...until Taylor! I will look to see if she is working the next time I go grocery shopping!! read more

The employees are wonderful. My problem with this store is they had two full service lanes open for check out. People were lined up at them. The self serve was also packed full of customer. The self service takes longer and is rRidiculous. Just because this company does not want to hire more people. They would rather put self-service registers to save money. I choose peoples jobs over dealing with self-service computers. read more

Shop at Davison Meijer at least once a week. They are not stocked up at all. They are not caring the gluten free and the plant based products. I don't care when I go in they are always stocking , can't get down the isle . Their bottle return machines are the worse around. I use to go in there 3-4 times a week, I dread going once a week now. Half the time you still can't get Tylenol in the pharmacy department. Was a great store . So sad! Masks are a joke. read more

We went into Meijer to print one picture and the experience we had was something unforgettable. First we simply asked for a charger and the worker Elizabeth was not happy about that she suddenly with a stern voice said "what do you need" very rudely, I was taken back at this response and so it took me a second to figure out to to say I just said "Um a charger" and she again rudely said "well there's three different types" I just don't get why she had to be so rude when I was just asking for a simple charger. Next, in our experience was a very rude fellow customer we saw her walking by so we stopped so she could fit through. She abruptly stopped, looked me up and down and scoffed as she shook her head we were baffled at this as we were wearing legging and sweatshirts and she was acting like we were completely nude. Every time I go in I find great deals. The store is usually in great condition cleaning wise and the bathrooms are always picked up. The only problem is the girls on late night seem to think they are in high school and not at work always takes them forever to bypass something on u-scan. read more

I hate this store with a passion. The people are rude and unhelpful. Tried to complain to manager a few time but it goes nowhere. Tried shoping later at night thinking it would be easier to get the sales items because they never seem to have them when I go no mater what time it is. Avoid 12-6am you can't get down the isles be aces they have boxes everywhere but no ones stocking anything. I drive out of my way to vg's and Kroger to avoid this place. The bottle return area is VERY DIRTY, The front of the machine and the walls are pityfull. the bottom trim pieces are missing. The floor is always sticky. Mention to the greeters are they say other people have complained. And the butts on the west side of the building are always there, wonder when the last time anyone swept it. read more

So far it's the only place I've seen that has lake perch. Yes, it's expensive, but at least they have it, which is more than I can say for Kroger. Kroger doesn't have it, and Kroger doesn't care! Personnel at fish counter are friendly, which is more than I can say for her counterpart at Kroger! Meijer also has Builder bars, which my Mom wants and thinks she needs. Kroger doesn't have any of them, but they don't care! And another thing: Meijer still makes donuts, good donuts. There is something special about that.
