They recently added a small bakery that makes the best caramel apple nut pie. Their doughnuts are in the top four that I have ever had. They have many different types of soda pop, and even more kinds of root beer. I tried something called butterscotch beer. It tasted just like a butterscotch candy. If you have never tried pickled eggs before, you must try the buffalo eggs. The eggs are pickled in a buffalo wing flavored brine that is just spicy enough. I promise, nobody wants moldy fruit or veggies. We want FRESH produce that isn't trying to kill us or rotting before it's even rung up. I talked to the produce manager about this issue and he couldn't be bothered. If it affects the store's bottom line - they're out. This company has grown from a "family business" to a corporate shell who puts profit over people. They continue to only have MAYBE two lanes open, forcing many to use self checkout. Most staff is pretty cool and nice - but this one lady with long, light blondish curly/wavy hair who was working the self checkout by produce on 8/17/26 at 9am and is maybe in her 50s/60s - is an absolute miserable person. Upon letting the service desk know about the nastiness and attitude of this lady, they questioned how she still worked there, as they've had MANY complaints about the same person. So, Oxford Meijer employs nasty people to make your checkout experience less than friendly; meanwhile, there are plenty of NICE people out there willing to not be a lazy or miserable worker. Why are you keeping on an employee that even associates at the same store question why she's still there? Get rid of nasty people. It's that simple. She doesn't deserve to be in a customer service role when she can't (and refuses to) provide it. While my choices around Oxford are thin for grocery shopping, I'll do my best to no longer shop at Meijer. They're taking advantage of a horrible economy, they employ nasty people (and do nothing about it), and continuously spend money on improving their appearance instead of putting people over profit. The gas rewards every month add up quickly, Usually .30 to 1.00 off on my monthly one time gas fill up to 35 gallons. The weekly app has great discounts and coupons as well. The 5 for 5 and 10 for 10 deals help shave some overall on my weekly grocery bill as well. I've always had great customer service from the managers, stockers, cashier's, customer service representatives and baggers. Kroger is well stocked with all your favorite foods as well as being very organized. With prices at all time highs Kroger has been friendly to its customers and community. Give Kroger a try and you'll be happy you did.

The individual on the other line said she did not see anything like that and hung up on me. Did not ask for my name and number in the event the hat was found. I was shocked. Completely shocked. We have read about the "on-going support" from our friends to the north, but obviously not. I purchased the hat the day after the event as all the profit went directly to the families of my community. Thank you for the lack of empathy. I will not be shopping here again. I was looking for a few things one of the last times I was at Meijer and the staff were not helpful which made me angry. I tried asking one guy for help as he was talking to people he knew and I said excuse me sir several times. The people he was talking to even looked at me and he never turned around. I found another worker and asked him and gave me one of those half answers and didn't even attempt to try looking further. I realized that Meijer is pointless. Their point system also sucks. It doesn't benefit us at all so I stopped using my number. I will stop going into Meijer altogether because I'm fed up with this store. I was lucky to find those two workers on the floor because I hardly see them when I need assistance. The older heavy set lady at the self checkout always has an attitude. I put my hand basket on the floor until I got my bag of things situated and then I was going to put it back and she snatched it up and rolled her eyes as I walked out and complained to the guy at the front. I started going to Ralph's. Well, Kroger because I use Ralph's in California and Kroger and Ralph's are the same because Ralph's is part of Kroger Co. The point system makes sense and I can easily clip and save from my app. Plus the staff are more helpful. One person at Meijer was helpful and that was a nice lady who helped me find a particular hair care product. She approached me and asked if she could help. The lady who helped me in the haircare isle is the reason for the extra star. Otherwise it would have been 1 star.
