I asked her if I could have extra cucumber and she said I had to pay (understandable) so I declined. Lo and behold, when I open my noodles there are no cucumber to be found. So she either didn't pay enough attention to actually listen to my question, or decided to lie to me. Imagine if I paid extra. What would I have been paying for? Goods are just the main brands with prices quite optimistic and certainly taking advantage of anyone not using Google to notice the much larger travel stop a few miles west at the interstate interchange. I still enjoy dropping in a few times to support the local community, grab some energy, try one of the unique brands/flavors not sold most other places, and laugh at the prices for Red Bull. Overall, It is very nice in a small place, but I found it to be clean. I want to thank them for allowed the hubby to sit there for two hours in the twilight of the early morning! They were friendly and gave good directions and information about things around town; sorry, no names... They also had cheap gas. I hope I never go here again due to our situation, but yeah, this was a cool place!

The building…read morehas been several things over the years from sandwich shop and market to now a convenience store. They carry everything you would find in a convenience store except gas. There is no gas. I was welcomed by the clerk as I entered and later asked if I needed help finding anything. Inside features a good selection of craft and domestic beers. There is a small selection of wine. At the back of the store are cases of cold power drinks and sodas. There is a small coffee bar. The center of the store houses shelves of snacks and pantry items. And behind the clerk is a freezer with ice cream bars which attracts the neighborhood kids in the summer. Outside, there is neatly piled stacks of firewood and an ice machine.
