Fortunately she stopped at a gas station close to AJ's and was able to get to their lot just before they opened. They were very helpful and quickly got her car in, brought in a replacement tire and had her back on the road within 2 hours. She made it home safely that night. Masks are required, but are not enforcing it . Hand sanitizer is not provided. The bathrooms were not too bad. There were two stalls and one of them was clogged. They did have an hand dryer and paper towels instead of one of the other. (Although it is not environmentally friendly, paper towels are more sanitary than hand dryers.) Oh, well. Like other Costco with fuel, the gas pumps are located. Unless you have a massive vehicle, you can use the pumps on either side as they have very long hoses that will reach across most cars. Prices here are lower than other gas stations in the area because your fuel is "subsidized" by your Costco membership. When you get to the pump, scan your membership card and then your credit card.
