I sat waiting at the drive thru watching 3 employees including the manager playing on a phone laughing. When I called them out for it "Dennis" yelled at me they were "working on it" when I said they were standing around doing nothing he responded " f you get the f out of my drive thru now or else". Flipped me off in front of at least 3 cameras in the place. The manager "Kourtney" says he was "disciplined" not fired for that. I suggest any other place in the area. read more

The one star is for the shop. Pulled in an hour after they opened and asked the front register about getting repairs done on my trailer. I was told their mechanic wouldn't be in until 3pm and to try another shop. I'm back in my truck looking up other shops and see two other trucks pull in and the mechanics going to work. read more

First travel stop I've seen that has a dog park. My dogs were so excited to stretch and run after our long car journey. There is also a Hardee's at this Travel stop and the food was delivered hot so that was also a pleasant surprise. read more

Restrooms were clean. The service was great. We were greeted when we walked into the gas station. There were many people. We did get in and get out pretty quickly. Flys were around the fountain drink area machine. But I have noticed thats common for many gas station fountains. read more

This is the first loves I've been to. I'm from Ohio. I was in the restroom and I heard the manager go over the cleaning schedule to a new employee around the corner and he meant business. Yeah the restroom is definitely clean and all the hot dog stations and pop machines were orderly as well which I really appreciate and they had ice also. Definitely recommend. Oh also when I first put up a lady was being helped by a loves employee with a bad battery and he fixed her up real fast. she tried to tip him and he just held his hand up and said no thanks ma'am have a good day and smiled. They also have RV parking and air and pet waste bags on a little sign near a trashcan. read more

we recently stopped at this gas station to fill up our moving truck. somehow we couldn't t find our cat and were concerned he jumped out of the truck. the security, staff, everyone we spoke with couldn't have been nicer and were soooo helpful!!! 40 min down the road the cat came out from someone secret hiding place we couldn't see. thanks again Love's staff. you were amazing!!!! read more

I was so impressed with this place. I was driving through and it was literally the cleanest bathroom I've seen across the country for starters. They were open through the evening which was nice. They had a full coffee bar and drinks and snacks. Lots of Illinois souvenirs. The staff was super friendly being the middle of the night. I was impressed! It is well known for anyone who travels a lot, Love's is hands down the best full service truck stop. They are the most clean and well stocked places to stop. There are snacks and sandwiches for every taste, as well as a huge selection of drinks. The staff throughout the country are friendly and welcoming. This Love's location shower water is terrible due to the temperature remaining cold . The trucker's bathroom/shower electricity has electrical problems causing the lights to turn off and on repeatedly. To be considered a truckers stop bringing in consistent business and being a major corporation, problems like this need to be resolved immediately. read more

Great gas prices, clean restrooms, and they have a DOG park! It is small, but awesome to have a fenced in area for your dog to stretch his legs and potty! I highly recommend this gas station! read more

this loves which opened up just before Thanksgiving 2018. one of their newer ones out here on the Illinois plains occupying what was once actually ironically a truckstop years ago gone.. it features a Hardee's so far being brand new they're doing a good job of keeping it clean that has a very large parking lot for trucks the car lots at nice size to 24-Hour Hardee's. run by Loves. which works out good so if there's any kind of staffing issues the employees can fill in vice versa between the store and Hardee's if need be and properly trained. doesn't have a bean to cup machine yet they still have a regular coffee but they do keep it nice and fresh and for the most part the few times I've come and they've done a fairly good job keeping it clean bathrooms too..so hopefully they continue to keep up the good work the Hardee's is pretty good too although late at night that could be a little like any other place sort of sketchy as far as the quality I think because of what you have to hire for the graveyard shift it is what it is. read more

Two stars because they have hand sanitizing stations in numerous places around the shop. I gave an extra star because the employees are wearing their masks correctly. This place lost two stars because despite their NUMEROUS signs everywhere about "masks required" they are not enforcing it at all. A quick in and out to use the bathroom and I counted nine people completely maskless (not even with an attempt to "wear" one pulled down, just no mask at all). read more

3 weeks ago I was in Oakwood and stopped to get gas. 3 gas stations on south side of I-74. Speedway had customers without shoes and employees did not have on masks. Village Pantry employee had on no mask and did not know how to charge food and gas together. Other place had no window washing fluid or good squeegies. Today I stopped at Love's even though their fuel was a penny higher. Window washing fluid was full and clean. Went in and every employee had on a mask and very friendly. The place was very clean. Don't stop here often but when I do I will pay the penny more, it is worth it! read more
