The office is in a really nice house they have converted into office space and when we went in we were immediately warmly greeted by a very nice lady who had us fill put some paperwork. When we were done we were taken right back and got in to see the doctor. Dr. Poling took his time and took me through so the standard eye tests and all the standard questions that you would expect. He was very nice and seemed to really be patient in regards to getting a full history. When I was done he examined my wife's eyes and gave her a very thorough exam as well. We both then looked at their selection of eyeglasses. They had a really nice selection with pretty fair prices. There was no pressure at all to buy glasses from them. The ladies showing us glasses took their time to go through all the various options, explaining everything and patiently answering our questions. In the end we did buy two pair of glasses and we are both excited to pick them up sometime in the next week. In the end we were both very impressed with Dr. Poling and his staff. They're very professional, courteous and friendly. We both have found our new Marysville eye doctor!

Earlier this week, one of my employees got a piece of metal in one of his eyes here at work. He had…read morean appointment elswhere, but though he would try to get into his local optometrist at Truitt and Truitt. They were able to remove the metal and provide some much needed releif as it was causing much distress and made it very difficult to work. He returned to work this morning, refreshed, eye was clear and the irritation resolved! The irony was when I saw the bill, I realized the optometrists he sees happend to be an old classmate of mine from Worthington. It was a sh!tshow there. They "squeezed" another patient in before me making me late for another…read moreappointment I had since I had to take off work to make the appointments. Evidently making people late doesn't give the patient an apology. When I finally made it to the doctor, my doctor wasn't there. She'd left the practice, and no one bothered to tell me. I told her no one informed me my doctor left and she was making me late for my next appointment. The doctor replied, "yeah, that'll happen." I refused to buy glasses there and when I met with the tech, she leaked private HIPAA information while another patient was sitting there, "is the insurance with your husband _______ that works at ________?" When I pointed it out, the tech argued that she wasn't verbally stating identifying information. Additionally, the tech behind me said that didn't happen (do you have security cameras? Let's check the video, shall we?). She didn't hear what the other one said because she was distracted talking to another patient. Tech said she never leaked HIPAA info because she takes classes every year. Then tell your mouth it needs to not give out information. Never again.

If I could give them a few negative stars I would. Worst experience ever with the associates…read moreworking there. Dr. Laura Mitchell was okay to work with. Purchased two pairs of glasses. When they came in to the office I received no call. Finally had to call myself to see if they were in. That happened three times as the glasses were blurry each time. Finally got a refund. The worst part is they (Office manager Sara) won't contact my insurance company to say I returned the glasses. My insurance company called several times trying to get ahold of her and she would not return their calls or mine. I would never, ever, recommend them unless you want to be treated terribly.

Let me clarify some things....I've been blind most of my life and did all types of glasses and…read morecontacts; I am also OCD and a perfectionist, so I'm always looking for a problem. Either way that said, I have been coming to see Dr Morrison for a number of years, and of all the doctors in my life, past and present, she by far is the best. She is highly empathetic, intelligent, a great listener, and she is high energy.....all this is consistent!!! Everyone has bad days, but I'll be damn either she doesn't or she hides it extremely well!!! She has taken excellent care of my eyes for years and recently she did cataract surgery in both eyes, so I trust her 110%. I now have achieved 20/10 in my right eye!!! 20/20 is perfect vision.....I'm bionic!!! Damn! My other eye is healing as I write this......but regardless of the outcome, Dr Morrison and her staff are excellent. I would and do recommend anyone to get onto her case load.

I loved this place because they have a large selection of Asian fit frames (20+ at least) including…read morea brand called TC Charton which is why I visited in the first place. The service is really helpful. You know how you have to bring in a prescription and your health insurance card? Not recommending this -- but if you're in a pinch and you forget those items, they will call in to request it on your behalf! Of the three opticians I visited this year, this is the only place that offered to do that. Also, I emailed back and forth before visiting the first time to ask about specific frame availability and insurance acceptance, and the team there responded very timely to my emails. The Asian fit selection is large because the Honda execs and their families are patients/clients at this practice. Open one Saturday morning a month -- typically the first Saturday. Open during the lunch hour, too.
