I chose to have my left eye corrected to read clearly, and my right eye corrected to see far, while balancing the combined vision of both eyes. My prescription is still exactly as it was intended to be. When I was attending appointments to determine the approach and to prepare for the surgery, all of the staff were friendly and helpful; everybody filled their roles professionally. I found TLC on Yelp and with its high rating, great reviews, and the fact that it is located not too far from home, I decided to make an appointment. Everyone here is really friendly. They very clearly outlined the process, the pros, cons, worse outcomes, best outcomes, etc. After reading several pages outlining all the horrible things that could go wrong, I almost changed my mind... but knowing other people that have done it and the success they've seen, I was set on it. My first appointment was just to have my eyes examined, sign all the paperwork, and learn everything I needed to know in order to be fully prepared. My next visit was for the procedure. This day was rough for me personally. I wasn't nervous to have it done (heck, I can do anything for 30 seconds) but after waiting over three hours in the small waiting room I almost lost my mind. When appointments are required and you know how many people are scheduled to come in that day, you roughly know how long things are going to take. Instead of trying to pack in as many patients as you possibly could in one day, maybe focus on your patients overall experience. I wouldn't have cared had they called me and shared that they overbooked and needed to change my appointment. That would have taken my experience from barely a three star, maybe even to five. A few days after the procedure I went back in for a check up that was literally less than five minutes from check in to check out. Overall, I'm glad that I did it. The day of did suck, mainly because of the waiting for so long, but I can see and for that, I am super happy.

I get there and we are told to sit while the lady finishes up with a customer. We go see the glasses in the meantime and can hear Muhassad Aljumaili speak loudly to the lady that he will not take his 6:30 appointment. He after comes to us and mentions he is no longer taking 6:30pm appointments and he will not see my daughter and 'we tried calling, but you had the wrong number on file' mind you I got a text and a email confirmation after all that he made me follow him to the computer and mentioned you are 5 min late anyways and I mentioned I was looking at glasses we was not late. This has been my GO TO location for my 2 girls and myself this was such a disappointment of how we was treated and im extremely upset that instead of throwing a tantrum and speak loudly to his colleague he should have came and apologized and rescheduled.

Completely disabled since 2004. Performed in Centerville, lasik plus. Would not see me again and ran me out of the office after my hospital stay for vertigo 2 days following lasik. I felt that the doctor took his time and paid attention to the details. He did a good job of explaining the results of the different tests he performed on me. The staff was also very friendly. I thought the price I was charged for the services he performed was very reasonable. I paid out-of-pocket since I don't have vision insurance. I would recommend this Optometrist to my family and friends.

The staff are very friendly and polite, and always have been, and while they do a great job helping to pick the nicest glasses for you, they always have an eye out for your medical needs. I've been told that I might prefer a different style due to the magnification, weight, and size of my lenses, have had special glass and coatings applied both in the office and at the lab, they've returned custom lenses that "aren't right" at no charge and more. I've called over weekends and on holidays and had excellent reception and care. Dr Jones will also steer you in the direction of the best care. Sometimes it's a generic drug, sometimes it's a brand name, but he stays on top of his field and doesn't try to sell you anything that he wouldn't use himself.

This is my second experience with Sears Optical…read more.. Dr. Wilkerson (who recently came over from the Sears at Westland) is one of the best optometrists I've ever had... He was through during the exam, and took his time. Even though I've been through many eye exams during my life, he explained everything and clearly explained my results. I learned a lot! The opticians (Sarah, and other woman whose name I cannot remember) do an excellent job of explaining your insurance benefits before you start shopping for frames, and will help you select the frames that best fit your face (and budget). I love Sears Optical!

Was a patient of Abner Bagentose who retired. NONE of his practice partners made any room in their…read moreschedules to absorb his patients. We were treated like a new patient. So I chose to move to Dr. Scott Bagentose (the son). The timeline to get an appointment as a new patient is 1 year out. Currently their scheduling for may/june/July of 2020 (it is October 2019) no matter the doctor or the office. So I had to find another practice because this practice can't manage the patient volume. To transfer, I need a referral from the treating physician. Called Dr Scotts nurse explaining the situation and asking for the referral. In fact, I left SEVERAL messages over the course of 30 days. She NEVER returned my call. I finally called into the office and spoke to her on the phone, explained the situation to which she said "we are not going to refer you to our competitor". WHAT? Without the referral I cannot get medical treatment for my allergies. I can't get an appointment from this office anytime soon either. I literally lost it on the phone. This is THE MOST UNETHICAL and UNPROFESSIONAL doctors office I've ever experience. Dr Abner Bagentose would be appalled if he knew. I reported them to the state medical board. Avoid this place at all costs!!
