We love Dr. Blake. She does a great job with our making both me and my kids comfortable.

They give me so far 2 sets of lenses both with the same issue since I've owned my glasses for stress fractures around the edges due to manufacturing defects. I haven't had eye insurance for a while and now that I do, I decided to give them one last try. I specifically told them to order the exact color frame so that I can use my interchangeable temples from my old set which were about $50 per set and I own about 6 sets. When I went to pick up the glasses, they were the wrong color. So now I have to wait another 4 weeks. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially Oakley fans like me.

Dr. Burroughs was very kind and thorough in her exam. The not-so-pleasant part was in picking out frames. I felt rushed. I did pick out frames but after leaving I thought of a very important question. I called office and told receptionist what my question was. He said the lady who helped me was with a patient and that he would call me back with an answer. Which was fine. As I was about to end the call, the lady got on the phone and she answered in a rush and said she would change my order if that's what I wanted. As I was responding back to her, she impatiently cut me off and said she was with a customer. I knew that. She could have called me back. I would have preferred that rather than feeling I was a bother. This was my first visit to this office and I wish it hadn't ended badly.

It is with a bit of sorrow I have to write this review because I have done good business with this…read morecompany on several occasions. Recently I brought some office glasses for repair where a hinge broke. After a while the same side broke again. I called to follow up and learned I was still under warranty. Whomever I spoke with seemed to be kind as usual. I brought the eyewear in on Monday and was immediately put off by the person behind the counter doing whatever he was doing. He spoke rather dismissively telling me he would be with me momentarily without actually looking my way. After he continued doing whatever he was doing at the computer he asked me what I was there for. After getting my name and looking me up, there was a bit of confusion as to how my name was listed. Again this in itself was not an issue for me but his attitude was stone cold I "DON'T WANT TO HELP YOU!" Once he found me he looked at my eyewear and immediately said, "OH THIS BROKE WHERE THE PLASTIC IS, THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO FIX THESE". No customer service, empathy nor reasonable expression from one human being to another let alone a customer. This was all I could think about. Then he said, "I could bond them but I doubt it would last a day. Sorry!" It was a very sarcastic "sorry" - more like a f&^! you 'sorry.' It was at that moment I realized i needed to get outta there before I went beyond my own personal character. I took my frames home and added a little super glue to the point of breakage. I'm glad to say its been over 48 hours now and I've worked in them for some 22 hours since Monday without a problem. The glue is sturdy and I am satisfied with my own limited 'craftsmanship.' The fact that he didn't choose to make a fix for me is one thing. I find that disappointing in itself. But the fact that this man with a nasty ass attitude spoke to me like I was a worthless waste of his time has me rethinking whether I will ever seek out their services again. To reiterate, this was my first negative experience as opposed to the many times I've been there and received friendly service. I could imagine several reasons why this could be which I won't mention. One I will mention is I had just cut my grass before driving to the store on my lunch break. Perhaps he thought I was a hobo. But again, regardless, I am still seething when I think of how this person summarily dismissed a person who takes pride in spending money with good businesses. I was taught in the first grade not to judge a book by it's cover. I would have asked this person his name. But I was so put off even now I don't care.

Definitely my favorite place to get prescription glasses from now on. I was told by another…read moreoptician that they could get my glasses done in 4 weeks *meh* so I went to Eyeglass Wearhouse instead and had my glasses ready in 2 days!

I chose to have my left eye corrected to read clearly, and my right eye corrected to see far, while balancing the combined vision of both eyes. My prescription is still exactly as it was intended to be. When I was attending appointments to determine the approach and to prepare for the surgery, all of the staff were friendly and helpful; everybody filled their roles professionally. I am particularly grateful for the expertise of the staff and the precision of the technology. Thank you TLC team!

I found TLC on Yelp and with its high rating, great reviews, and the fact that it is located not too far from home, I decided to make an appointment. Everyone here is really friendly. They very clearly outlined the process, the pros, cons, worse outcomes, best outcomes, etc. After reading several pages outlining all the horrible things that could go wrong, I almost changed my mind... but knowing other people that have done it and the success they've seen, I was set on it. My first appointment was just to have my eyes examined, sign all the paperwork, and learn everything I needed to know in order to be fully prepared. My next visit was for the procedure. This day was rough for me personally. I wasn't nervous to have it done (heck, I can do anything for 30 seconds) but after waiting over three hours in the small waiting room I almost lost my mind. When appointments are required and you know how many people are scheduled to come in that day, you roughly know how long things are going to take. Instead of trying to pack in as many patients as you possibly could in one day, maybe focus on your patients overall experience. I wouldn't have cared had they called me and shared that they overbooked and needed to change my appointment. That would have taken my experience from barely a three star, maybe even to five. A few days after the procedure I went back in for a check up that was literally less than five minutes from check in to check out. Overall, I'm glad that I did it. The day of did suck, mainly because of the waiting for so long, but I can see and for that, I am super happy.
