They always have my medicine. They are all friendly and helpful. I don't have insurance, so they always try to find the best discount.

So I had been to two other pharmacies and was hoping to get my med which was really needed and the Meijer had it. Then the dude at the register went to see if they had it and they did, and then they called right away to the other pharmacy and got my scrip transferred and filled. I had been up all night at work and the staff seemed to understand that this was very important to me...and they took care of my need efficiently. I have been using this pharmacy for years and never had any issues. Kind of shocked it is reviewed so poorly.

After switching from another store that rhymes with "fight blade", I've been generally pretty happy with them. They're not without issues (I mean, what business doesn't have issues of some type, right?) but it's been a decent experience so far. PROS 1) Prices. One of my required medications that costs $106 at that other store is only $86 here...same manufacturer, same medication, same appearance. 2) Freebies. They have a few medications that are free, and one of them is something a family member takes. 3) People. Maybe I just go in at the right times, but I've never had an issue of rudeness or miscommunication with anyone. They've consistently been friendly and helpful. 4) Convenience. It's easier to shop for other things I might need, and making it a one-stop excursion is good. CONS 1) Computer systems. They do seem to have more than a few of them. I'm pretty patient about it and understand why it happens at times, but it wouldn't hurt if Meijer would invest in an IT upgrade for the pharmacy. 2) Speed of service. When the lines get long as they inevitably do, things do seem to slow down. My guess is that a good part of that is related to con #1. Overall, I'm happy with them. If the IT systems are improved and there's a noticeable increase in service speed because of it, I could easily give a four-star review. read more

Rude Rude Rude! Been waiting for them to fill a prescription for almost a week. Pharmacist talked down to me. They have no time to answer questions. Walgreens here I come! Update: I sooooo want to use these pharmacy as it's so convenient for me to use. But I just can't stand the people that work there. If they make a mistake they act like it's your fault. I understand they may not be diabetic but it's their job to understand prescription drugs. Especially when I'm the one sitting around waiting and coming back the next day or two days later to get what I need. I have been using Meijer Pharmacy for a couple of years due to the MPerks. However, 2 out of 3 visits are with a very rude cashier. This is a place that should be a comfortable experience. I'm picking up meds because I'm sick or because I need them on a monthly basis to maintain my health, I don't need any attitude when doing so. Get Cashiers that are not rude B words!! I can go elsewhere, please be advised If I don't get the mperks I also will buy my groceries elsewhere! read more

ALWAYS have an issue.....computers are not up to date often (several times I have waited in the long line and get up to person and script "didn't go through main system" or "someone should have told you we didn't have it in stock when you dropped off... I'll make sure she knows to look it up" etc) and not to mention there's always along line. Would definitely advise strongly against going here.... read more

Called the pharmacy(B Drive, Battle Creek) twice today. Both times the response was extremely rude and abrupt. No greeting no "how can I help you"?. My past experiences have been much more pleasant. I know Saturday can be a busy day, but rudeness is unacceptable. I hope the management team is reading this and provide some training on customer service. Thanks, Jon read more

I will never use them again. Took my prescriptions there for years and it's been getting worse and worse. There will be times they run something and say that insurance won't cover it and then leave it at that. I call my insurance and they say they do and that they never even got a call from meijers to check why. So after they refuse to re ring the rx I pay out of pocket and the following month when I get my refill they run my insurance no problems. The staff there are the most rude people and won't answer any of your questions. The final straw was they overcharged my by fifty dollars and said it was my fault and it took then over a month to send me a corporate check for less than fifty dollars. They only did that because I went in every other day to ask the status. The girl had the nerve to tell me it's not her responsibility to keep me informed and that its just a waste of her time. read more
