It was 1:29 and they knew we had been waiting for 30+ minutes, with no cars behind us anymore. A total lack of respect and care for their customers, incredibly immature, especially when dealing with prescription medicine that people depend on to live. When I asked management about it I was immediately fired. I was a hard worker hmwho worked 9 hours at times with 1-15 minute break for the whole day Walgreens is a 27 billion dollar a year store and can't do right by their employees. Unfortunately it was Christmas time and I made sure all employees were given a Christmas present and I was just a worker ... yes including the store manager that fired me Sad but true Then after Christmas I was fired ...... I guess no matter how you connect with people and feel their a part of your circle I stood up for the two others that got stuck working the holidays for straight time not one stood up for me when I got fired. I am fighting something off, so I was picking up cough drops & looking for strawberry chapstick. The last working check all the places they have chapstick for the season. Then when she couldn't find any, she went to the cashier, who looked through his bin at the register to get me the last one. And this was all without my knowledge while I was finishing up at the pharmacy. That kind of attention to customers is what makes a place stand out. I love that this place is so close to home.

I won't have to call my doctor now." The system ended the call by asking for a phone number in case the pharmacist needed to get ahold of me if there was a problem. I wasn't able to get in that day to get the prescription, but I went the next evening and was told they hadn't been able to refill it because my doctor hadn't responded to their fax. When I asked why no one had called my number like the message said they would, the pharmacist said the system automatically sends a fax if you do it over the phone and don't talk to them directly. But the system doesn't notify them in any way. So the only way they know about it is if the doc rejects or approves the fax. If they don't do anything, then apparently no one knows about it until the customer comes in to get their order?? How does this make sense? The manager informed me that their system recently changed and has been screwing up for people left and right. Just another example of corporate making a BAD decision and leaving their employees to take the fall. Of course it was after hours, so there was nothing I could do at this point but go to an urgent care and pay a copay to get a prescription I needed for that night. And you'd better believe I sent it to a different pharmacy. I will NEVER trust Rite-Aid again.

It is the only 24 hour pharmacy in the area they know of. What impresses me the most is the level of counseling from the pharmacists. When we first picked it up, they gave us very good information about the medicine. A few days later, I received a phone call. It was a Walgreen's pharmacist checking in to see if I was experiencing any side effects of a new medication I had started a week prior. He warned me what side effects to look for and when to notify a doctor. I have never received such phenomenal care from a pharmacy. I wish it were closer to my home!

That is the East Lansing college town. This one is for the actual townsfolk and it's not a very high income town but they have some amazing food around the area. This particular Pharmacy has your typical very high prices and service wasn't great and there wasn't anybody to answer the question that I needed answering.
