I had lots of positives to say about this chiropractic office. It's very well organized, I have never had to wait more than a couple minutes for a treatment before I was on my way. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. So why only 3 stars? Last week I was getting a treatment by the owner when I felt pain in my side. The adjustment was harder than usual and a week later there is still pain. I am certain I have a cracked rib. I called the office later that day to say I was taking a break because I was still sore. She said she'd tell the doctor and suggested I have a meeting prior to starting up again. But, a full week later and I haven't heard a word to see how I'm doing. I won't be going back. Not checking in is a real turn-off to me. On a side note, and also a turn off, is the same day I was injured the doctor gave a patient a hug. He wasn't wearing a mask (these are Covid days) nor does anyone in the office. I don't recall if the older woman was wearing a mask or not. I don't think so. The explanation was she likes hugs. That's not ok to me. When I called to report my injury, I mentioned the hug. I was again told she likes hugs. Anyway, they lost a patient in me. read more

I recommend to anyone looking for a chiropractor to check out this practice. I was skeptical in the beginning but as soon as I had my first consultation I was super excited to begin. Not only is Dr. Meininger awesome but his staff is super friendly and helpful. I think my favorite thing about Dr. Meininger's practice is that they're passionate. He takes the time to examine you and explain the process of his profession before he starts adjusting. People always ask me why I don't go to a chiropractor closer to home. I tell them that it's the passion for the field, the contagious bright and cheerful attitude of the staff and the feeling that you're apart of the family. Iam a NP, so I am very knowledgeable about medical, health and mental issues. I was a sceptic at first but my friends encouraged me to go as I did have some aches and pains and difficulty sleeping. Well I have been going faithly for 6 months. I have very few aches and pains, my sleeping has improved. I have signed up for another 6 months. I am a believer that getting adjusted is working. For the past year I have been treated under Dr. Meininger's care for some severe nerve damage in my spine. I was a patient for a few years several years back & the improvement in my lower spine went from almost constant pain to minimal pain. But I discontinued my treatment because I moved & felt I couldn't afford it. Several years passed & by then had mri's showing collapsed disks in my neck, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, arthritis, slipped disk lumbar area, then frozen shoulder as a frosting on the cake. Neurologists highly recommended surgery but I chose the route of physical therapy, then chiropractic. I was in severe pain last October. I now would say it went from an 8 to a 3. I also work a job now that requires more physical involvement than my past job sitting on a computer all day. The new job I thought would be a challenge for me, but has actually been better for my body than sitting all day. Dr. M listens to me at each adjustment, to inform him of what's going on in my body & treats me accordingly, it is not always an automatic adjustment. I'm very grateful for such an upbeat, positive group of people. They are accomodating, professional & a pleasure to do business with. Dr. Meininger and his Staff are sweet, open, sweet people to work with. They make me feel very welcome and a bonus is They are learning American Sign Language to communicate with me and my friend. They are very upfront about what my care would requires, they would check if you got injured by fall, sleep wrong way etc. they would give you care for that beside the adjustment. They just give adjustments and use smaller tool to direct target the joints etc. they don't just any other machine. They def keep their maintenance care at affordable cost. Apparently this practice does not take MVA (motor vehicle accident) cases because they don't deal with 'acute' care. Who says MVA cases have to be 'acutely' treated? If anything they need longer term care. My friend was going to refer someone there who was not in an MVA but became worried when he realized that this practice is not capable of handling all types of cases. Also make sure your insurance is approved and billed correctly. Otherwise you'll be stuck with a nice large bill. Look at the reviews below where patients have been billed for thousands of dollars after they received 'care.' That sounds like a nightmare upon a nightmare. Be careful and be well. read more

Totally personable, very peppy and upbeat chiropractor and staff. BUT -- I went for a back spasm -- I've had problems with it every few years. Heard the pep talk. Got the estimate -- $1800. Come again?! Oh well, he'd take care of me for $900 (huh?) -- as long as I didn't file insurance claims (huh?). I was to come in every day, or at least every other day, for an adjustment. Unbelievably, I drank the Kool-Aid. But wait a second. This place claims to believe that it's critical to have almost constant adjustments -- but they are closed Fri Sat Sun.....Seems at the very least disingenuous. If we all need the treatment so constantly, why don't they close on Wednesday instead of Friday? And when there is a Monday holiday, it means that one has to go from Thursday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon without a "critical" adjustment. . I walked away feeling badly used -- feeling that I had been suckered by an enthusiastic, caring little entrepreneur. With other chiropractors, I've had maybe three visits ($270? total) and been fixed and sometimes been able to get some money back from insurance. Never 900 bucks. Never the born-again fervor that I shouldn't go more than two days between visits -- although when he wanted a four-day holiday weekend, my needs were suddenly flexible. Take my advice -- go elsewhere. Find a good, old-school chiropractor, one who takes x-rays and makes adjustments -- who is there to work on your back more than on your wallet. read more

What a breath of fresh air! Fast, efficient, and knowledgeable, Dr. Dan and his team keeps my spine in shape. He started with a full exam including electronic X-RAYS, education on chiropractic care in general, and my own specific findings, along with his recommended care plan, numerous payment options, etc. His approach was different that I was used to from a previous provider, and makes me grin every time I go -- he makes it fast and easy to get the care I need. Yes, he keep back & leg pain out of my life (the original reason I went), but also so much more: He provides many free seminars in the community, not just about spinal care but all kinds of health topics, and routinely runs contests for his patients to help keep his patients engaged in healthy living. Even though my pain is gone, I still go for regular adjustments -- once you know what it feels like to be well adjusted, you'll never want to go back. What a difference, truly. For a longer story and more detail, keep reading: I first started chiropractic care with another provider after back and leg pain from a slip-and-fall in my driveway had me needing a cane to get around (in my mid 20's!). After a few weeks of this and the pain not going away on its own, I finally decided it was time to do something about it, and visited a chiropractor I knew about. Each visit took 30-45+ minutes: sign in (even after his move to electronic records, still took 3-5 minutes), sit in the waiting room a while, maybe or maybe not use a special table to prep you for the adjustment, then go into an office for your adjustment, go sign out, schedule your next appointment, etc. What a drag! He helped with my initial symptoms, but even if he had done a great job educating me on ongoing spinal care, I could never have carved that much time out of my life for visits. Fast forward to finding Doctor Dan -- I had moved and my old provider was just too far away, so I gave him a try. After the initial 2 appointments for intake/exam/results review/care plan/etc. each visit is a BREEZE. He schedules all of your appointments up front (so you don't have to schedule them one at a time) but makes it super easy to move them around if you need to. He gives you a patient card with a bar code so that when you arrive you can check yourself in within literally 5 seconds of entering the door. Depending on what time of day you pick for your appointment the wait could be absolutely zero to several minutes (I think the most I've ever waited is 5 minutes). He adjusts you quickly but takes the time to talk with you and answer any questions or concerns (the perfect balance between good bedside manner and not wasting my time!) and you're on your way. Because of this efficiency it is really easy to fit in treatments since they don't take a big chunk of your day. Phew!! (P.S. Yes, my back and leg pain is gone... what a relief! For those times when I do something to throw myself out of alignment, now I know what it feels like to be properly aligned and can tell right away and can always get in quickly to get it fixed before it gets any worse.) Seriously, I don't know what I will do if I ever move. How will I ever find a chiropractor as good as Dr. Dan? read more

I thank my lucky stars for Doctor Dan! His staff, Stephanie & Jenna, are great as well. I talk to the entire staff like they are friends because they are! I have been going to his office for about 4 years now. I am a very active 28 year old and live in the Grafton, MA area. I started there after meeting someone on his staff at a sprint-triathalon sign-in. After a very reasonable consultation he showed me how my history with athletics & multiple car accidents had affected my health, posture, and quality of life negatively. My lower back & neck had been causing me pain for many years but I never gave myself the chance to look into it. Thank goodness I did because I now have very little pain. About ten years ago, I had pain starting in my hip, which caused additional pain, and numbness, through my entire leg. After consulting with Dr. Meininger, I started my chiropractic care. One of the best decisions I have ever made. While the pain may return on occasion, the adjustments have definitely minimized the degree of pain and lessened the frequency.
