My contactless debit card was refused as a form of payment. I was practically man handled out of the restaurant and pointed in the direction of the local cash point. And told and I quote "it is not too much work for you" to get my cash. Meanwhile my food is getting cold in the restaurant. When I got back into the restaurant I was then told to sit and wait for my takeaway which was actually on the counter. I felt insulted, disrespected and and angry with my treatment. Once inside the seating is a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. Service is reasonably fast, and food is on the table quickly. Some of the dishes are a bit odd, but most are yummy! Not much in the way of childrens food, but not the sort of place you'd like to take the kids anyway! Friendly staff, and good atmosphere.

No big surprises on the menu, efficient and friendly service, take-aways possible... it's a fairly standard and reliable workhorse of a place. Timing makes a difference so being there earlier is best if you want to avoid the larger groups later in the evening on a Friday or Saturday night.
