However, all trust was broken when we received a letter from the IRS with frightening penalties. We later came to find out that they had never filed our taxes for the past two years and that the services we paid for never were completed. As a small business operating family owned for over two decades, penalties like this could crush a small business. In the turmoil that followed, we have yet to receive an apology from Elite Services or urgency on their behalf to cover in FULL the penalties, struggled to receive financial documents that we are entitled to, and now, receive our money back from our impound account (we have lots of unanswered emails from Cristal and her team). We also know of other businesses that are receiving services with Elite Financial Services, being hit with similar penalties from the IRS from Elite Financial Services not doing their job. I highly recommend all businesses and locals look elsewhere for services.

The overarching theme is that they are unorganized, unprofessional and communication is horrible. From starting with them in June 2022 there was one red flag after another that I continued to ignore and just hoped things would get better. A few low notes: - I signed the paperwork to hire them for payroll on June 8 and no one got back to me until June 22 after I contacted them on June 16 to find out next steps - June 30 paycheck for employee is incorrect - I received multiple "notice of form delinquency" letters from the EDD - They are very slow to respond to emails and I typically had to send follow up emails before I got a reply - Over the course of 1.5 years I worked with three different payroll people because they kept leaving the company I know of two other people (business owners and individuals) who worked with Elite Financial for their taxes and Elite Financial never filed their taxes and the people were hit with huge penalties (which Elite did not pay for or return their calls). Be sure to read their Google and Yelp reviews. One of the positive Google reviews is from a current employee, but she does not disclose her relationship to Elite. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.
