We had family vacation photos taken at a Florida beach in July. Our photographer, Tina, was a…read morelovely person and very polite and easygoing, if not professional. She suggested the venue and it was beautiful, but I hired a photographer because I don't always know what looks right and I wanted someone to take care of that. The session was short and she rarely suggested poses, placement of individuals, or specific locations on the beach, and left all of that to us, always asking what we wanted to do and what picture we wanted. The pictures are clear and look good, but there are a few things that are off. She only sometimes gave us notice to smile. She did not ensure that everyone was looking at the camera. She rarely suggested rearranging people. In one shot, the sand in front of us was full of footprints and beach fodder, and in others, there are spaces in the pictures that look odd, and parts of people's faces are blocked. Just a few minor things that take away from the beauty and balance of the photos. I have no idea how many pictures were taken, but she failed to include one that I specifically requested. While I like some of the results, I was far from impressed with many. Finally, we were told that we would receive the pictures, along with a separate code to download them, in a few days. I did say to take her time, as I would not be viewing them until I returned home, but I had to request them when we did, and then the code to download them. What we initially received included a link to order prints, etc. from the photographer but no code to download. I would recommend the photographer for candid shots at weddings and events, but be prepared to check the pictures for the things mentioned before the end of the session.

I brought this to her attention and with some prodding she was not able to honor the advertised price, but agreed to include two free prints, which was cool. Throughout my conversations and inquiries she answered all of my questions and stated I was very thorough. Why yes I am :) 30 minutes prior to my event I called Rania stating my party was running late due to plane delays etc(everyone was coming from out of town) and wanted to know if we could schedule the shoot 45 minutes later. She agreed. 45 minutes later no Rania and instead of calling she sent a text stating in a nutshell she wasn't going to make it because her nanny was unable to stay longer. I rated this business a 2 because I deserved a phone call in the event of cancellation just like I gave her a phone call in the event of my tardiness. After texting and emailing about full reimbursement I was finally fully reimbursed but saw in the notes the following ( money refunded because client was late, not a good fit). I think that's interesting. Was I not a good fit when I submitted my payment in full prior to the shoot? Probably not. I was very disappointed that my photo shoot was cancelled and the way in which it was cancelled and handled. All in all though I received a full refund, so I'm not angry, but honestly the professional shoot was more important to me in the end than the money and as previously stated I did not receive that.

We initially reached out to her via on Facebook Messenger and she called us back within 24 hours - if not sooner. From our first meeting to the actual wedding date, she was beyond flexible, courteous, full of ideas and her work was/is spotless. She has multiple packages to choose from. The package we chose included engagement pictures and a second photographer. For our engagement pictures, we spoke on the phone, through text and emails and shared our ideas of where we'd like to get them done. She was able to take our vision and put it into reality.
