Melissa has been wonderful and I'm so glad I found her. To start, she set up a meet me and greet with my girl, Moira, and dropped off paperwork. She is licensed and makes sure she gets to know an animal's needs and owner's expectations. I am very picky when it comes to people I trust with my pets. Melissa was very thorough and I felt comfortable with her from the start. She has now been taking care of my girl for about 5 months. She comes weekly and sends me a daily text along with photo. It's a real bonus that she is a talented photographer. Some of my best photos of Moira have come from Melissa. I feel like Melissa always does a great job. I have surveillance set up and Moira is always happy to see Melissa when she arrives. There have been several instances in which I believe Melissa went above and beyond. Not everyone follows leash laws and Melissa makes Moira's safety a priority. She was also very helpful when Moira was trying a new medicine that had unfortunate side effects. She communicated with me and cleaned up Moira's bedding when it was soiled. Not only that, my girl tends to heat up pretty quickly and Melissa stays on top of that, watching her closely, providing adequate and appropriate exercise and care. I feel lucky to have found Melissa. In our consultation, her services were discussed and agreed upon together leaving no stone unturned. I had my own notes ready, but with Melissa none were needed since our session and her paperwork covered it all and more. The clarity was great. Penelope is an eight year old calico who in past would not let anyone she knew to even touch her, she'd hide when guests visited. Not only did she not hide she let Melissa pet her and showed off for her! Coal is an eleven year old black cat that is outgoing, but can be reserved with new people, nope he too had to have his turn at being petted.
