I can't begin to tell you all the experiences of poor or non-existent customer service my wife and I have had in the past year. We firmly believe in supporting small business, which is one of the reasons we chose Williamsburg Heating and Air Conditioning to install our new HVAC system in February 2018. We could not have made a better choice. The customer service we have needed since its installation has been prompt and professional. While on vacation this month, a neighbor monitoring our house informed us our air conditioning was not working. I called your company from Atlanta to get a service scheduled upon our return home. Your representative gave us an appointment time the morning after we arrived home. The service tech, Seth Betler, arrived in the time frame window that we were given and immediately conducted a diagnostic evaluation of the system. He discovered the AC compressor shorted out. He told us the compressor had to be replaced and would be covered under the warranty. Our first question was, "When do you think it can be installed?" He told us that Williamsburg Heating and Air Conditioning did not keep compressors in their parts inventory and he would need to get one from the distributor in Newport News. He made a phone call and found out that the distributor did not have one in stock. He said they would have to order one from the factory in Arkansas and it would not be here for 5 or 6 days. He would call when it arrived to schedule the installation. Needless to say, we were frustrated that we would be without air conditioning in 90-degree temperatures for 5-6 days. Customer service is a priority at your business! Within 90 minutes of leaving our house, Seth called to say that after making numerous phone calls, he had located a compressor in Elizabeth City, NC. In addition, he convinced the supplier to meet him half way to deliver the compressor and he would have it installed at our house that same afternoon. In today's world, that is INCREDIBLE customer service. In our eyes, the sign of a smart CEO is the quality of people with which he surrounds himself to make a successful business. Seth Betler was a great hire and I recommend that he be named employee of the year!! Mr. Johnson, we plan to tell this story to everyone we know and sing the praises of Williamsburg Heating and Air Conditioning, as it is well deserved. We plan on leaving on-line reviews wherever we can to let people know for their HVAC needs there is only one company they can trust and depend on: Williamsburg Heating and Air Conditioning. I called this company to come out and service our AC system. Adam came out and did a nice job of servicing our system, While he waited around for awhile to see the difference, there was no reduction in the house temperature. After a period of time he decided to check the ductwork condition. I told him I had just hired a company to replace any and all old sagging or missing insulation under our house. When he came out later dripping with sweat, he gave me bad news and good news. The bad news was there was a large hole in our ductwork at an elbow turn and the air or heat was not coming into the house, but coming out into the crawl space. That was why the temperature wasn't lowering inside. He said the good news is I repaired the leaking area for you. I couldn't just leave you in the heat. (we thought that was very considerate of him to do that). I thought, another bill for someone to come out and repair the hole. I was disappointed that the two men had failed to repair the hole or inform me about it. That's another story I will address later. We told Adam how much we appreciated what he had done to help us out with the temperature, for Summer and come Winter. He showed me pictures of what it looked like before and after he repaired it. I asked him if he would email them to me so I could show the other company what their men failed to do. We both thank this young man for his time and what he did as I said we are both Senior Citizens. I hope he didn't get in trouble for what he did. We had this standby generator installed beside our home. The electricity will go off quiet often…read moreand my Wife has to have the electric on. She gets upset when she has no electricity. I saw a commercial on TV advertising a standby generator and call for a estimate. We got the whole house one, because I got tired switching extension cords around from room to room. We were found this one that would service our whole house and had it installed. The crew arrived on time as scheduled and after introduction from the leader they went right to work. They did an amazing job with installing and setting it in working order. They installed a switch -over box in the garage so when the power goes off, within 15-30 seconds the generator comes on. We thought that was nice. For years I used a portable generator with many extension cords lying all over the house, but no more. I gave all that to my Son and now we don't worry about electricity outages. I have to tell everyone that the crew got caught in the rain, but that did not stop them. The leader went to Lowe's and bought a fold out canopy. They continued to work, half under it and some in the rain. The Gas Company came out and installed a gas meter to fuel it. When they finished, all was working when they ran a test. We were satisfied with their job proficiency, even working through a thunder storm the crew continued. I do not have to do anything when our power goes out, We just wait a few seconds and walia! The power comes on. We thank everyone that made it happen. Yr generator was very readable in price too! Last, but not least, I did have to buy a contract to have all taken care of, so I do not have to do anything, even maintenance, we just sit back and our standby generator.

He discovered spiderwebs inside the outdoor heat pump had blocked the transmission of data from the heat pump to the furnace. A first for me! He, of course, had seen it before. Once he had cleaned out all the webbing from the inside of the heat pump, the pump came back to life, and we had heat again. Art Newsome is the greatest HVAC company.
