I was told during my tattoo from rock that he will most likely have to touch it up in two weeks then as I kept on contact he told me why am I contacting him he has a wife and this was so inappropriate ! Do your job! Ignoring customers because you don't want to deal with it!Fix the tattoo! I haven't heard back from rock to get my tattoo fixed ! The shop staff cannot tattoo colored skin . This has taken me two years to finally write as I have been so upset about what happened. The tattoo artist did a cover up on my back and it was crooked. I went in the next day and the guy at the door had the audacity to tell me maybe the artist meant it that way. Are you kidding me!!!! Other artists in the place tried to help by making suggestions on how to fix it. I left my number and asked for the owner to call me. Never received a phone call. No accountability from the artist or owner. Went to another place on Winton Road and the artist spent many hours trying to fix the mess that was done. This is no reflection on the other artists who work there and do great work. However, I am very upset that the owner of the place did not care enough to make things right! read more

I was in Rochester for work and made an appointment to get a tattoo. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment, I ended up having to work late and missed the appointment, and in turn, forfeited the deposit. I am familiar with that kind of policy and I'm not upset about that. What I am upset about is that I didn't receive a phone call/text/email reminder that I had an appointment on the day before or the day of. And after the time of the appointment was passed, I also did not receive a phone call/text/email asking if I was on my way or if I unable to make it. The work posted on this site and their website looks great and I would still consider getting a tattoo from here, but their business standards and courtesies could use some improvement. read more

I called a bit after opening for an appointment to get my vertical labret. Was offered an appointment for 1:30pm. I came in and was communicated to that one person was ahead of me but it wouldn't be long. When I was called back I was walked through about what the piercing was and what it entailed. Marli made sure that I knew what I was getting, how long healing would be, how to keep it clean, and that I could change it out after 6 months. She even made sure I had a longer bar to accommodate swelling. She took her time and adjusted several times to ensure my piercing was done correctly and straight. I'm obsessed with my piercing! Time to Ink Up!!! This was another stop off on my cousins birthday celebrations, he wasn't able to get a tattoo that day but I was! I had made the plans with Mike to get some work done and actually showed up with a few different ideas for him to consider. I like to give my artist a general idea and see what their own creative juices cook up. What I ended up with is a great half HALF sleeve with a where the wild things are theme, sadly I've been rather freckin broke since and have not been able to get it finished but I will! Mike had a steady hand and so far it's come out looking really well! The shading will be the bigger challenge than the outline but I think he;s gonna do a great freckin job! THe shops been around a few years and is own by Chuck Delux who you can find out and about in the wedge often enough. I know I've have a few beers with him at Lux now and again. Went here to get my nipples pierced and was alarmed to discover that the person who pierced them went through my areola, rather than my nipple for one of the piercings. This is extremely dangerous according to experts and I've been instructed to remove the piercing to avoid tissue damage. Feeling pretty disappointed to have wasted money on a piercing that was done incorrectly. Additionally, NO ONE in this shop was wearing a mask when I was there. Overall very disappointed with my experience and would not recommend. read more

My husband and I paid Spenny the $200 deposit to book Sunday, January 8th all day. We were both going to be getting tattoos. Spenny seemed really cool and excited about what we wanted. We booked several weeks in advance, and then the night before, Saturday the 7th, he cancelled on us saying he was extremely ill. My husband and I are pretty understanding people, so while we were disappointed, we had no issues with having to reschedule. Spenny asked that we give him a few days and he'd get back to us. By Tuesday we hadn't heard anything, so we reached out to him to discuss his availability. By Friday the 13th, he still hadn't responded to either of us. I called the shop this afternoon after they opened, and was told that he was actually there tattooing today. While we're glad to hear he's feeling better, we didn't appreciate the lack of communication so I asked that we get a full refund of our deposit and he did provide it. read more

I love this place. Was in town with my B/F and we decided to get matching tat's . They came out very nice. Our choice was simple, but have a deep meaning to us. When we left , I forgot my drivers license and we were headed out for the 4th. We had to get to the next town so he could play in his band . We called the shop and had them mail it to an address at the end of the tour. My girlfriend got a tattoo here and the person doing the tattoo had a hole in his pants with no underwear and his dick plopped out of his pants. Not a lie. This man had his dick hanging out in the middle of a tattoo. My girlfriend wasn't really satisfied with the tattoo afterward, so the tattoo artist blamed her for breathing during the process and for not wanting to take her shirt off. Incredibly unprofessional. I had an appointment with Woody a few months ago. My appointment was for 3:30. Got there around 3:15, whoever was at the front desk told me the the person who he was tattooing before me wasn't done yet, and asked if I could come back at 5:30. I said sure. Came back at 5:30. Nothing was said to me until almost 7, because the girl before me was STILL getting tattooed. Then Woody had to clean the table, and stand outside for a smoke break. I didn't even START getting tattooed until almost 8pm. My friend and I both had appointments with him together, so we had to take turns. We were still there until after it closed. My appointment was at 3:30, and we didn't get out of there until after 10. Woody barely talked to me. I love the tattoo, but the waiting game they had us do was almost unbearable. I couldn't believe the woman before us didn't get her tattoo done in more sessions, and we had to wait almost 5 extra hours for hers to be done first. He hand drew a beautiful orchid, covered and old tattoo and disguised a scar and a skin indent from cancer surgery. Woodys work is AMAZING! I could not be happier! Got my tattoo done today it was a walk in. Ended up waiting around 45 minutes for the artist to finish the tattoo he was currently working on. He took a lot of time in making a design for me that was custom to me. He was very quick and efficient the tattoo ended up looking great!:) I was so happy the way it turned out I gave him a tip and told him he did an excellent job. The staff here is very friendly and they have a cute (well behaved) dog that hangouts in the shop sometimes.
