My son has been wanting to see Devil Wears Prada 2 and the first one is one of his favorite movies of all time. Personally, I don't like that movie but I went along with him. Tickets are $25 each and they have a $4 parking garage, but we were lucky enough to get a free after-hour meter on the street. It's a nice place and it seems like comfort is their top priority. The recliner chairs are extremely comfy and come with a blanket in case you get cold. You know how movie theaters are always chilly. Once you get settled, you can press a button that sends an employee over to take your order. It's completely optional. We got one small popcorn (light butter, $6) which was big enough for both of us. I like this idea of having the option of ordering and dining at your seat while watching a movie, but the reality is a bit different. It's kind of annoying to see the employees coming and going when someone needs a refill or places a new order during the movie. You can hear them talking and they can even block your view. It's frustrating when you are trying to focus. With that being said, I think it has more pros than cons. There are bars and bathrooms located across the several floors and the one we went to was exceptionally clean. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this theatre. I prefer something more standard like AMC or Pacific Theatres (RIP!)...

Last week, we attended a showing of Toy Story 5 at the theater. We learned that not only is the new ownership not offering food service during the transition but intends to abandon that amenity altogether. This is among the most foolish decisions that could be made from a business perspective and will undoubtedly result in a total loss on the owners' investment. The building has a gigantic kitchen going to waste. The screens are small, and the ticket prices are high. The sole reason people have chosen this theater over the numerous options (e.g. Century City AMC) is its special quality of in-theater dining and expanded, up-scale fare. It is absurd that the owners are trying to spin this as an improvement, claiming this unique feature has been "retired in favor of elevated food & beverage offerings -- designed to enhance your cinematic experience by reducing service-related noise, light and other distractions." No amount of polishing to the menu at the tavern will offset the loss of clientele brought on by the abandonment of the in-theater dining option. The owners need only look to the onslaught of terrible reviews streaming in across Yelp and Google or the consensus of complaints in the Reddit community to understand the extent to which this misguided approach will devalue their investment. They will certainly be losing our business until this irrational new approach is reversed.

Came on a Saturday and there was a chill movie premiere happening as well which was nice. Staff were nice and helpful as well. A great local theatre.

So this is a quite interesting story how I fell upon this location I was at the Melrose Place psychic there's a Farmer's market on sundays and she was doing readings on the market , me and my friends decided to do readings with her one of my friends decided to do chakra work with her , she literally lives basically two steps away from the market she has a property there.I was hesitant I wasn't necessarily into the eye deer at a time because I went to someone else and I felt like I got scammed and I wasn't really satisfied but then , then my friend showed me her meditation and I was very intrigued because the person that said they was doing my meditation for me I never actually physically got to do the work with her she only said she would cancel work for me.So I decided to say what the Hell & I reached out to her but I was only doing sessions with her over the phone we were just doing readings basically we did numerology astrology we went to my past life regression she connected with my father that passed away of cancer recently she knows so much it's actually like wow.I what's the chance in the middle of COVID-19 and I want to meet her at her location and Melrose Place area I did my meditation work and let me tell you I never felt so much energy in my chest in my life there was so much going on to my chakras and she put this pyramid crystal on my heart chakra and another crystal on my crown chakra and I felt rejuvenated it was amazing. Well I must say for my very first actual in-person experience it was phenomenal and I was always very fearful about having a reading done in the storefront location they're very scary to me to be honest. But going to the Melrose Place psychic and meeting with faith was definitely meant by the universe . Where do I even begin? This was an overall terrible experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. When I first spoke to Faith, she started bringing up names, none of which I recognized. She would ask, who is Santos? I had no clue. She told me they were a horrible person and stay away from them. Well that's easy considering I don't know anyone by that name. Then as she started delving deeper into the reading, I can only explain it as it feeling she was making it up as she went along. She told me my ex was being influenced by a dark skinned person. "Um, Jerome?", I asked. "Yes!", she said. I later realized Jerome is quite the opposite of dark-skinned. She laughably told me my ex was involved in a world of drugs, prostitution, and fraud. If she only knew how off she was. She told me Jerome would get locked up, never happened. She told me my ex would wind up in court because of his affiliation with shady associates. Never happened. She said things about my mother she was completely wrong about. She of course had to throw in that my family is cursed. She "saw" me in Bali in the near future. After calling a few places, where some of them were brash and too pushy, I immediately got drawn to Tamar's warm approach, and how she gives discounts to first comer as well (good biz tactic).
