It's been a long time since I've been to the movies, especially a place like this. I've been to this type of luxury theatre many years ago and it's definitely a good way to treat yourself. My son has been wanting to see Devil Wears Prada 2 and the first one is one of his favorite movies of all time. Personally, I don't like that movie but I went along with him. Tickets are $25 each and they have a $4 parking garage, but we were lucky enough to get a free after-hour meter on the street. It's a nice place and it seems like comfort is their top priority. The recliner chairs are extremely comfy and come with a blanket in case you get cold. You know how movie theaters are always chilly. Once you get settled, you can press a button that sends an employee over to take your order. It's completely optional. We got one small popcorn (light butter, $6) which was big enough for both of us. I like this idea of having the option of ordering and dining at your seat while watching a movie, but the reality is a bit different. It's kind of annoying to see the employees coming and going when someone needs a refill or places a new order during the movie. You can hear them talking and they can even block your view. It's frustrating when you are trying to focus. With that being said, I think it has more pros than cons. There are bars and bathrooms located across the several floors and the one we went to was exceptionally clean. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this theatre. I was very disappointed by my recent experience at IPIC Westwood. After the movie, I briefly needed somewhere to sit while waiting for my family due to mobility limitations related to Multiple Sclerosis. The first-floor lobby had no seating at all, despite the theater branding itself as a luxury, comfort-focused experience. I politely asked if I could sit for a few minutes in the empty restaurant seating area, which was completely unused at the time, and was repeatedly told no due to "policy." While I understand policies exist, I was surprised that no reasonable accommodation or alternative seating was offered for a disabled patron who was simply waiting for family. What upset me most was not just the lack of accessibility-minded accommodations, but the dismissive attitude I encountered from several employees and the difficulty I had even obtaining the manager's name. For a theater that emphasizes comfort and premium service, I expected far more compassion, professionalism, and awareness regarding accessibility needs. read more

Completely understand it's Sunday afternoon, however the service was not great Only come here maybe 1-2 year usually go to Pasadena, however I decided to go to Westwood, never again Took 25 min for 2 BEERS and a water ( which I never got) Popcorn came first no drink Food no drink Finally our waiter comes with a glass a water, we said yes still waiting on our Beer as well, he had the audacity to say " OH THIS WATER IS FOR SOMEONE ELSE , DIDN'T LEAVR IT WALKED AWAY WITH THE GLASS OF WATER!! Pushed the button AGAIN, told us our drinks our coming, not sure how anyone is supposed to eat anything without a DRINK!! PARKING PRO INFO: (1) Enter from Glendon Avenue and look for the driveway marked "Pierce Brothers" - it leads directly to convenient parking. (Refer to my two pictures re parking.) (2) Have your parking ticket validated. Our validated parking cost was only $3.30. AMBIANCE: Beautiful decor and cozy atmosphere that sets the perfect mood for movie night. SERVICE: Stellar! Every team member was exceptional - from the front desk staff to our attentive server to the bartender. SEATING: We enjoyed the Premium Plus theater, and the seats were incredibly comfortable. Each pair of seats has its own divider, giving you and your companion a nice sense of privacy. Pro tip: there's a handy button on your table to call your server, plus a separate button for the light. WINE: They offer two pour sizes - a standard glass (6 oz) or a generous glass and a half (9 oz). My Chardonnay was excellent! FOOD: We started with the Truffle Fries -- delicious! For our mains, my niece ordered the pizza, which was generously sized (we easily could have shared it). I think I may have found my new favorite movie theatre spot! Of course it is on the pricier end but I do believe it's worth the experience once in a while. Parking is $3.30 with validation next door. Their food and drinks were also pretty good. We got the Mac and cheese with steak and the filet mignon sliders. As for drinks, we got the spicy mule and dragoncolada, both were great! Service was okay as they forgot my drink but our server was very nice! The best part was of course the seats as it came with blankets and you can practically lie down. Good thing I didn't eat too much or else I probably would've fallen asleep by how comfy those chairs are! Can't wait to be back! read more

This was our first IPic experience and i can't wait to come back! I want to start with the negatives..,, the parking! Omg that garage entrance is kind of tight and i don't like the tandem spots. But anyways it is what it is. They do validate so that's cool. Now back to what i love. This place is lowky! I would have never known a theater existed because the building it's in doesn't give that it gives doctors offices lol Anyways the seats are comfy!!! And the blanket?! Yes thank you! 5 stars for the old ipic...1 star for blue fox entertainments new "the cinema". what made ipic unique and special was the in dining experience; and to add onto that the food was great. We came to "the cinema" today and it felt like a ghost town. you can order soft drinks, cocktails, candy, or popcorn - at a concession stand (really just the old alcohol bar) outside the theater. not exactly the "elevated food and beverage offerings" blue fox said they were going to offer here. gone are the days of the waiter call button and restaurant style food! i know ipic went bankrupt but certainly it can't be from the food aspect of this theater. this new business model does not make any sense as the theaters still have the same amount of seats (about half the number of an AMC). i really hope they figure out a way to make this theater unique because now it's no different than an overpriced AMC. read more

I really enjoy this theater. I knocked off 1 star because near the end of the movie, there is a bit of clinking and clanking of dishes/silverware in the back which disrupts the movie a bit. They provide blankets and it reclines if you choose those seats. Parking is discounted with validation. read more

Attended a screening of "The Last Showgirl" at this amazing venue and loved the whole experience. Nestled quaintly on Wilshire Boulevard very close to Westwood Boulevard this iPic Theater is easy to drive to and accessible via public transportation. Greeted by two attentive hosts, walked by an attractive restaurant/lounge on the ground floor and was sent upstairs to the theatre. The seats in the theater reclined and a nicely folded blanket was on every seat. There's a server attending to you with full food and drink menu! Had a cocktail with my popcorn. After the movie screen was surprised with a question and answer session from some of the cast and crew (director, actors and costumer) of "The Last Showgirl"! Pamela Anderson was so open and honest. Rebranded as The Cinema. The new owners fired over 100 of the old staff without warning. Now it doesn't serve food or have waiter service just Smart and Final junk food snacks from the bar. The seats kinda lean sideways. The online seat map doesn't match the actual seating floor plan of the individual theaters. I have enjoyed ipic in the past but this time wasn't how it usually was. It was horrible. Here are the list of issues that happened when i went to watch WICKED FOR GOOD. 1) The doors were supposed to open at 5:30 PM. They didn't open until almost 5:45pm, and because of this, the food was being delivered waaaaaaaaaay into the beginning of the movie. I have been going to ipics for over 10 years and that timing was the worst yet. 2) The check drop was made during FOR GOOD. Yes the waiters were walking around dropping the check during one of the most important parts of the whole damn movie, ruining it. It was hard to enjoy it when the waiter is standing right in front of me, talking to the guy about his bill. He also was just straight up standing in the aisle going back and forth with him during the most important part of the movie. 3) FIX THE WOMENS RESTROOMS UPSTAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG IT WAS DISGUSTING!!!! THE BATHROOM SMELLED LIKE ROTTING FISH. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING!!!! PEOPLE WERE VOMITING IN THE BATHROOM BC OF THE SMELL. I WENT DOWNSTAIRS AND I SAID HAS SOMEONE TALKED TO YOU ABOUT THE BATHROOM AND HE SAID YEAH WE HAVE HAD SOME PLUMBING PROBLEMS FOR A FEW DAYS AND WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO COME AND FIX IT. I TOLD HIM YOU SHOULD REALLY CLOSE THAT BATHROOM IT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I AM HONESTLY SURPRISED NO ONE CALLED THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT ON THEM. I am never coming here again. Love this place. My favorite theatre and great menu and drinks. I was just there two nights ago. NEWS FLASH: IPIC Westwood is GONE! It has been replaced by The Cinemas and are supposedly in business as they are selling tickets. But not on the IPIC Website. No notice... nothing. You have to book on www.thecinemas.com. There is also one in New York as well. Will have to check it out. Not sure if they will continue to be a dine-in or not, but read they may cut out delivery to your seats so as not to interrupt the movie experience. You would think there would have been more notice. read more

We really used to love IPIC, but we're very disappointed this time around. 10 minutes of waiting and nobody came to our table. If I hadn't pushed the button I doubt anyone would've even checked on us. The food was cold despite how long we waited and the drinks didn't come for FIFTY minutes into the movie. These were not cocktails either. Nobody checked on us after that and I didn't see our server until he dropped off the bill. He told me the card I used was to "hold" but he ended up running it without asking or telling us. We had a gift card we were planning on using instead. My husband approached him and told him we had a gift card. He replied that he already ran it. No offer to make this right. No apology. Nothing. read more

Used to come pretty frequently till service went downhill back in 2017. Decided to give it another chance since it's 2026 and I should've just stayed away. I ordered food before the movie begun and an hour & 10 minutes later my food has still not arrived. The servers response was there was an event.. and walked away. Continued to wait and at this point the movie is close to ending and he finally brings my food. It's not only late, it's extremely cold. We got the seared tuna salad it was the best salad I ever had had. With miso tahini dressing, mixed greens, red peppers and roasted apple took it to the next level. I want to go back tomorrow for round 2. I will get it every time. So bomb and healthy, get this. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at the iPic Westwood location during the 10:00 PM showing of Sinners on April 24th. The movie cut off less than halfway through, and instead of any meaningful resolution, I was sent home with just a voucher to return within the week. I had planned my evening carefully, including paying for a babysitter, expecting the luxury and service iPic promotes. Instead, I was charged over $100 for food and drinks--with no offer of a discount, refund, or even a voucher for the food and drinks I didn't get to enjoy while watching a full film. I reached out to iPic corporate via email to express my concerns and request appropriate compensation, but I've received no response. So now I'm here, sharing this on Yelp to warn others. For a theater that brands itself as high-end, the way this situation was handled--or rather, not handled--was extremely disappointing. I left feeling like my time, money, and overall experience didn't matter. I hope this is addressed not just for me, but so future guests aren't left in the same position. read more

IPIC is my favorite theater for their comfort and convenience. I always order nibbles but we came the other day with intentions of having dinner during our movie and we were really surprised about how amazing the food was. The food has always been good but if this was an actual restaurant I would come back and order again! I couldn't get any pictures of my food because it was dark, but we had pepperoni pizza, chicken wings, and shrimp Cobb salad wrap w/ fries. Everything was really good but that shrimp cobb salad wrap was so good!! For a movie theater I can't believe how perfectly cooked the shrimp was. Highly recommend! The food is delicious and the fact that you can have a gourmet meal served to you while watching the most recent movie is amazing. The location is beautiful. The seats that are available are comfortable and they provide a warm thank you for you to relax and sit back and enjoy your show. It is definitely a place that we like to visit often. If you like a posh theatre with an excellent restaurant inside, come here. It does cost more than other theatres but the seats are gigantic and comfortable. They provide a pillow and blanket. Food servers come to your chair to take your order. They have so much to choose. I love iPic theatres. read more

my wife and I are regulars we normally see a movie here once a month and drop over $200 on tickets, drinks and food! Last time we came here we had some issues with our food, the first order took about 30 minutes and came out wrong, and then it took an hour to be remade. I wouldn't have left this bad review if that was the only thing that happened. What really struck our nerve is that when we confronted the manager to handle the situation he was rude inconsiderate, had no empathy for the customer experience and made me feel like I was the problem. I believe his name was Dominic, not 100% sure (tall, skinny i think black hair it was a Friday evening. it just so happened to be for my wife's most excited release of the year scream 7.)... after going back-and-forth for 10 minutes literally pulling teeth out to have the issue addressed properly. He said he would issue us tickets to come back, he left to the back office for five minutes, then came back and said "it was my lucky day" and that he issued a full refund. He gave me a receipt that showed no proof of a refund. I gave him the benefit of the doubt waited a few business days naïvely only to never receive the refund or tickets to come back... it's really frustrating when you have a go to spot and a manager like this ruins the experience not just for my wife and I, but for other guests he was gas lighting as well. I hope upper management gets this problem of an employee resolved. good places like this need better managers, I'd be sad if you guys went out of business, but I can't imagine, loyal customers returning after being treated so rudely. read more

Diego the manager is absolutely horrible. Customer service was disgusting. We got there, mind you the purpose of the theatre is for the comfort of reclining seats. Our chair was broken, and we drove from far to come there as we've been wanting to come here for a while. Little did we know our experience would be ruined. After a long drive and finding out one of the chairs was broken, Diego only offered a comp drink. I asked if he can refund one of our tickets and all he said was if I do that you would have to leave the movie. Absolutely horrible and disgusting way to treat a customer who drove far to come and experience this theatre. I would not recommend at all. On top of it, if the chair is broken, you should be letting people know before purchasing their tickets. Will never be stepping foot there again. Entirely disappointed with today's experience. Booked the 10pm 5/30 for Backrooms seats E3 and E4. We arrive and there's a couple in our seats. We decided to suck it up and sit E5 E6 as that was the only nearby empty seat in which I then realized why the couple decided to take our seats. E5 did not recline. I brought it up to our server Jacob and offered to move us seats and said yes. I pay to be able to enjoy the movie while reclined. We get moved to seats F1 F2 and wow. Where do I start. Couple to the right side of us have absolutely no theatre etiquette. From the moment we got seated there they had no sort of respect for others around them. It is truly disappointing when you pay more than $40 for tickets and spend $90 on food to not be able to enjoy the experience. It's amazing your team allowed them to be this loud throughout the entire movie. It was talking after giggling and what not. It was brought up to Jacob's attention and quoted they were being LOUD. We ONCE AGAIN ended up in the seats we DID NOT PURCHASE E5 and E6 now due to people being inconsiderate. We had ordered a second alcoholic drink and never received it and was given the bill. Once again brought up and appeared to dismiss us and blamed it on another server, it almost seemed as it was an inconvenience for them to bring out. Considering how this even all started the least that could've been done was brought the drink out. I hope management sees this and would like to be contacted immediately. read more

Number 1 reason to spend extra for an IPIC ticket? Absolutely the leather reclining seats. My body didn't realize how it could melt in luxury. Some movie sounds are too loud but you also feel part of big booms and crashes. Prices have gone down also, currently $21 for any age. The menu selection is great since the food is from the first level restaurant. Service is always great. Four pizzas alone, each 6 slices, easily shareable. Some food like tacos I wouldn't order because they're hard to eat in the dark. Drinks available too and a theater level bar. Because of Covid, gone are free popcorn and blankets. The Meatza pie was good but the crust too crunchy. Stinks too as my first slice was the one burnt one. Really appreciate their contactless bathroom sinks although most toilets didn't flush. The vibe outside the theaters is post modern chic. No movie poster in sight. I don't go to movies as often many more but IPIC for the seats and big screen alone are my top choice. The main bar also looks cool and intimate with a cool book "mural". read more

My friend suggested this theater and I'm always down for a new location. It was pretty cool. The team were super kind and the quality of the movie was good. I went to watch Spider-Man and it was a great experience. The staff greet you as you enter. They have a bar area in multiple locations and then they also have the Tuck Room that you can order drinks, food, etc. The seats were nice and plush. We did the dine in special. The food wasn't the greatest. I ordered the kids chicken strips and fries. The fries were amazing but they only give you two LITTLE pieces of chicken. My friend ordered the Buffalo chicken egg rolls and they were NOT good. They tasted like they were frozen prior and that after taste. Being that I am in the restaurant industry, I def know the difference. I didn't ask for a refund but tempted. My server was SO nice. Shout out to Khali!! Because he was the bomb dot com. Nice experience. I would just eat before going because it's overpriced and not the tastiest. And $7.50 for a drink, water me please. I was excited to see a movie here especially since their chairs lay down. It's a good theater but in theater 2 when I went the AC was low. I was sweating the whole movie. We ended up missing the last 30 min or so because it was unbearable to stay there. When we left we mentioned to the worker that we are leaving cause of the air. He said yah I know we told them. It's just not working. The room smelled terrible because of the lack of circulation. Pros. The service was good. The chicken wings were well done. And the fries were fantastic. The truffle fries is okay cause the sauces goes all the way to the bottom of the bowl but other than that I was impressed by their fries. read more

Been to most of the IPICS in California, have had great experiences at all of them, have seen a lot of the other grievances others have mentioned, my personal experience has been different the number of times we've gone recently has been pleasant Last time we went we had the whole theater to ourselves, which was nice, the theater was clean, the bathroom was clean, the food came out on time, the service was timely & the theater itself had great sound, screen quality was great & chairs were all comfortable & great experience As far as food, if you are expecting 5 star quality food for a movie theater, you are coming to the wrong place. Remember this is a movie theater not a 5 star restaurant. When we ordered our food it came out warm & on time. As far as quality, we know what we like & we liked the taste & quality we received, the food is not fast food quality or bar level quality & its not 5 star dining quality either, it does the trick for us at least for watching a movie. We're not looking for a lobster dinner here Was the food pricier than it should be, I would say it was, but thats just what I think comparing it to similar food spots elsewhere, its charged at a premium considering its brought to you from a separate kitchen prepared individually. It worked for us personally The service people when called not just this time when theater was empty, but last time when theater was packed was timely with a few hiccups here & there, understandably since it was fully booked.
