Well....we really wanted to leave a better review but I think the chef lost its taste buds. I…read moredon't like to leave bad reviews based o one meal but what we ate here tonight made it so we will never come back. Everything was way too salty. We Both ordered the smokey molasses seared Pork chop and it should have been labeled as salted Crusted Pork chop. The pork chop itself was very tender. Mine was a little undercooked so my husband traded with me As his was medium done. They both tasted the same however, so salty we could not finish them and did not want to take them home. We both had garlic mashed potatoes. My husband and I had a disagreement if the potatoes were real or powdered . I voted for powdered because of an after taste whereas my husband thought the aftertaste was related to the garlic. Delivered to our table was a small loaf of garlic bread which was fresh and soft but not necessarily tasty. Next up was soup which we ordered differently. I had the French onion. This was Not a baked French onion but a salty beef broth with ample cooked onions. There seemed to be bits of melted cheese in the little cup making me think that at some time There was some French onion soup prepared with the cheese melted on top and what was left got dumped into the soup pot. My husband took the chowder. He took one bite and pushed it away. He said it was Horrible. I was reviewing everything so wanted a second opinion. I took a mouthful and agreed that it did not taste like any clam chowder I had ever eaten before. It was flavorless and bland. Between the two of us we may have eaten one of the 2 pork chops. I even tried to scrape the top of the pork chop off to reduce the salt but it did not work. On the plus we got there around 5 on a Friday evening and were able to get a table right away. Our waitress looked sad and like she was just going through the motions but she was adequate in refilling my husbands soda and getting our meal to us right away. The place filled up after we got there and there was Standing room only. That has to say something about the food or maybe the alcoholic drinks are good.

Food, drinks and service was fabulous and much better than expected. We had jumbo shrimp special and filet medallions (house special) with risotto type rice and chunks of lobster on top. Absolutely Delicious. We will be back !!!

Our friends are supper club fans and are working through all of the nearby supper clubs. We have…read morebeen tagging along on this adventure. They made a reservation on a Wednesday night which is when they have their broasted chicken and dumplings special which draws a crowd. We hung out at the bar with the locals beforehand and had a very strong old fashioned. The waitress eventually came to the bar and took our orders - we opted for the chicken special though you could also order from the regular menu which features many supper club standards.. When the food was ready they ushered us to the table. The broasted chicken was very good even the white meat was moist. The legs and thighs were excellent. I went with the potato salad but the others got the dumplings and raved about them. The coleslaw was very different - it was sweet and creamy vs. the typical vinegar base. We ended with an ice cream drink the Butterfinger Blast which was more like an ice cream sundae. It was excellent. It was worth the drive.

Looking forward to this place for fish fry. Nicely decorated and staff were really nice and on top…read moreof things. We got seated and it was by a door that wasn't used and had random stuff locked away inside ( need to either clean it up or take table away). Food looked good but fish didn't taste . perch had no taste what so ever. The rye bread was the only thing that had taste. The old fashion I had was good.. but nothing to go back for. They have a nice place just need to up their food quality.

The service was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of without being rushed. And the food... absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly made with quality ingredients. What really stood out was how well everything came together--great service, great food, and a comfortable, inviting vibe. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

This being a building trying to do all the things (bar, concert venue, restaurant) I was apprehensive about sourcing and quality. When I asked where the hanger steak came from, my server checked and reported it came from Jenifer's Market in Madison--always nice to know where quality ingredients come from. So I ordered the hanger steak. I felt better knowing there was competence at the executive chef level and whomever in the kitchen gave this answer this day. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly to my requested temperature. My only complaint is the lack of dinner rolls. When none came with my entree I asked about it and was told they only come out after 5pm. When I asked at 5pm, I received two - and they are two bite size rolls. But the four bites were worth the wait though I'm suggesting to the place that dinner rolls be made to order with dinner. I didn't love the feel of having to ask for what is listed on the menu (rolls with dinner entrees - no mention of only available after a certain time). Overall, great steak and attentive service, but the bread situation makes me reduce this one star.
