So I mean it when I say this is the best coffee shop I've ever been to. It quaint, and comfortable. I especially love getting a coffee and sitting by the fireside. The coffee is excellent and better than it should be. Plus you can just tell that this place has created an atmosphere and service that the community loves. I took a mouthful and agreed that it did not taste like any clam chowder I had ever eaten before. It was flavorless and bland. Between the two of us we may have eaten one of the 2 pork chops. I even tried to scrape the top of the pork chop off to reduce the salt but it did not work. On the plus we got there around 5 on a Friday evening and were able to get a table right away. Our waitress looked sad and like she was just going through the motions but she was adequate in refilling my husbands soda and getting our meal to us right away. The place filled up after we got there and there was Standing room only. That has to say something about the food or maybe the alcoholic drinks are good.
