It serves ice cream in cups of cones as well as ice cream shakes and sundeas. The flavours here are wonderful and include cotton candy, rocky road, pralienes and cream and rainbow. Opposite there are a few benches where you can sit once you have your ice cream, because if like me you are greedy and get two large scoops walking is not always an option!!! The food selection is a pretty standard fare but it's all of a high quality. The Mac & Cheese is especially great; cheesy and more-ish! The last note is a special shout out to the desert menu; beautiful cakes and superb, locally made ice creams. On very hot days it's good to supplement the hot tea with a cool milkshake. I had a green tea and a delicious, generously large slice of carrot cake. Cream teas with scones and jam are available but be warned, the scones we had were unbelieveably huge so you may want to share! We each paid less than £5 each so it wasn't too expensive and felt we had more than enough cake and scones to eat between us. Staff were very friendly, with quick service, always making the experience that much better. I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in the Christchurch area, hopefully earlier in the day so I can catch the red velvet cake and brownies before they disappear!

The pastries from here are lovely, and all appear to be homemade, nice chunky fillings and lovely golden colour to the pasrty unlike some other cheap outlets sell. You can grab a drink here too, and toilets are just next door, so kill all those birds with one stone!

This random surprise hit me on a sunny Monday in Winchester when I saw two older ladies sat idly…read moreoutside having an ice cream in a large waffle cone that looked like caramel. Upon asking where they got it, they seemed to ignore me, which isn't a response I used to. When glancing more closely, I saw a tag with a language that wasn't English and politely excused myself. However, I asked the men on the bench next to them who pointed at the shop under my nose and in front of my face, and another up the road. On entering, there was a warm, friendly staff, who quite wickedly offered me a taste of the Dorset Sea Salted Caramel gelato. This was irresistible, along with the Honeycombe flavour too. Not only was this double waffle cone delight lovely, but it was slightly less expensive than the other ice cream vendor and, as an added bonus, it came with the choice of either a golden chocolate or dark chocolate stick! Heartily recommended and a place I'll need to take my partner and get the stamp on their loyalty card.

During the winter it is visited mainly by locals but during the Summer months when tourists visit it can be very busy. Suppliers of a wide range of breads, from french stick, small loaves white and brown, buns and rolls. They also can supply some good grade and flavoured flour for those of you who prefer to make their own bread mix. Cakes are on offer in store from gingerbread, to cream buns (I would recommend the Yum Yums - iced doughnut style cakes). Also selling pizza slices, quiche, pasty's and pies, and makers of sandwiches (either pre-made or they will offer to make you a sandwich on site if your choice is not available). Well worth a visit whether for a loaf of bread or lunch!
