I called the number for the store that I accidentally ordered from and got a "this number is disconnected" message. I went to the Crave site and reached out to the Oak Lawn location because I didn't see the city address I needed and thought maybe the two stores were the same. Oak Lawn team responded (again, no reason to - just wanted to take care of a customer of Crave) and GOT ME A REFUND. Again, the Oak Lawn location had NO reason to assist me but they did it anyway! I paid about $22 for four, which I understand are supposed to be "exotic" flavors. Let's start with the one I was most excited to try: the Golden Dubai. The name alone sets the bar pretty high. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to it for me. It was extremely sweet and covered in glitter. Oddly enough, the display cookie didn't have the glitter, so I'm not sure if that was added afterward or what the deal was. They also poured some kind of liquid over the cookie before serving it. I'm honestly not sure what it was, maybe some type of sugar glaze, but it pushed the sweetness way over the top. And I'm not exaggerating when I say this cookie had me wired. It was so sugary that I actually felt jittery afterward and had to lie down for a bit. My blood pressure was definitely on level nine after that one. The pistachio was decent, but still sweeter than I prefer. Then I tried the Mediterranean one (the red cookie) and it had the same issue: just overwhelmingly sweet. At that point I didn't even bother with the other two. I ended up giving them to my neighbor's daughter. Maybe my taste buds have changed over the years, but I just can't tolerate that level of sweetness anymore. For me personally, this place is a no. That said, if you love very sweet, over-the-top dessert cookies, this might absolutely be your thing. Plenty of people probably love them. But for me? Sorry CRAVE, I really had high hopes. My husband got the Chai Latte which he wasn't quite fond of but they asked if he wanted cinnamon on top which was nice. Overall, coffee is their specialty and there's a reason why. While the right flavors made it into my dish, the whipped cream was flat, and peanuts were incorrectly substituted for pecans...both undesirable. The ice cream was also very soft, and you can see from the picture was a mess that never should have made it to my table. Once I got into it I discovered the banana was severely over ripe and mushy.
