Here it is July they still have my truck. After doing some work and racking up a bill it kept breaking down when they would test drive it. After a few months they determined it was a bad motor. Truck had just rolled over 100,000 miles so just out of warranty. I decided to get Ram care involved unfortunately they could never get in touch with Meltons service department. They closed the case with out a resolution simply because they were told by Heather in the service department that I had picked up the truck, This is a lie from the very lips of Meltons Service Department. I recieved by email from Ram care all of the conversations they had with me and Meltons. They are the worst company to deal with on service. And my truck still sits in their parking lot simply because they want over 18,000 and have no solutions forward. read more

The service department is the absolute worst I've ever been to in my entire life. Nothing from them except empty promises and lies and BS.. I wouldn't take a Tonkin toy there to have it repaired and I certainly would not believe one word from the service writer there.. read more

A family member recently purchased a vehicle and the transmission went out within the week. When we called to ask if anything can be done they became frustrated and started yelling at my wife over the phone, completely unprofessional. After helping him realize how unprofessional and ridiculous he was acting they decided to take the vehicle back. I was having a transmission problem and they told me to bring it over and warned me that it would not be worked on until the next week, which was fine. The date came and went when they said they would be working on it and I heard nothing so I started calling and got no calls back until 2 days later on a Saturday afternoon. They did not know what the transmission guy had found but would have a loaner vehicle for me Monday morning and would know what was going on with my vehicle then. I stopped by Monday morning and after a 30 minute wait while they were scrambling trying to find me a loaner (because they did not have anything for me to drive). They finally had me something to drive and told me they were going to put a new torque converter on and hoped that would fix the problem. That was on a Monday and the part was going to be in the next day and they would let me know. Friday I had not heard from them so I started calling them after I was headed home that evening they called and told me the Torque Converter did not fix the problem and that they next thing would be replacing the transmission and they would be about 7000 dollars. Since I already had a bill for 1500 they were going to give me a 250 dollar credit on the replacement transmission , which I found out that the torque converter comes on the replacement transmission so I told them to STOP since the bill was going to be over 6500 if they did anything else . On top of everything else when I picked it up the warning light was on that there was no gas in the tank. Melton had it for almost a month and did not fix it, charged me 1500 dollars and gave it back to me with the indicator light on that warned me of no fuel. I checked with a local transmission shop and they said they would look at it after the Thanksgiving Holiday within week after Thanksgiving the local shop called and said it was fixed and the bill was 451 dollars. They changed a governor sensor and a governor solenoid and 3 hour labor and the vehicle is fixed and running great. If I could rate Melton's lower than one I would do it. Their lack of communication with the customer seemed to be the biggest problem and their let's try this attitude by a supposedly trained transmission mechanic shows a severe lack of consideration for the customer. read more

My boyfriend and I purchased a car in late August/early September we got to drive it for about 3 weeks before it went to the shop... here we are 8 weeks after the car initially went into the shop, the car sold to us needed a new transmission along with a very long list of other things that had to be fixed... I had spoken with Craig from Meltons when this all began and he assured me everything would be taken care of well, unfortunately that wasn't the case... luckily after fighting the warranty company (the warranty Meltons sold us) for 5 weeks they agreed to pay a portion of the cost. Unfortunately upon getting my car back from the shop, we got to drive it for 30 minutes before having to call the shop about an issue not related to the first visit. Be careful everyone, lemons are at every lot, don't get sold one like we did. read more

This was my first new vehicle purchase from Melton Sales in Claremore, OK and I can assure you that it will be my last! The initial contact with their sales department was good and resulted in my purchasing a new truck. Unfortunately, the truck required a visit to Melton's service department for the installation of an accessory item. This is the point where my impression of Melton's Sales began to decline. Long story short the service department delivered an extremely low level of service which reflects not only upon the service department but the entire dealership as a whole! In my 50 years of driving and purchasing vehicles I have never been so disappointed with the level of service received as I am with Melton's Sales. I suppose this is the chance you take when you purchase a new vehicle but I will never understand it. So this is my review to any potential customer of Melton's Sales, do your due diligence (sales & service reputations) before you purchase. As for me I will never give Melton's Sales another nickel of my hard earned money!! BUYER BEWARE. read more

As a female customer I was treated in a patronizing and condescending manner by the male service manager. When I voiced my concerns over the service received, the service manager chuckled and smirked at me. I believe if I had been a man I would not have been treated so rudely. They deserve a zero. We bought a brand new truck there. Just a little over a year of having it the radio/back up camera/gps started having issues. It was still under warranty. My husband scheduled it to get fixed. They stated they had to order the radio. A few days go by and they said we could bring it in to get fixed. My husband takes it in. They supposedly put in a new radio. My husband gets home and finds names and addresses stored in the radio. When I called Melton's they tried to say that they get refurbished radios and that the info must had not been erased from the previous owners. Funny enough, the previous owners are our neighbors! Let me tell you...Melton's treated us poorly. Even hung up on us. Once we reached out to our neighbors we found out that they just had their radio replaced by Melton's. That it was faulty. My neighbors were not happy that their information was stored in that radio. We learned from Sirius radio that the radio was deactivated from the neighbors vehicle just the day before they put it in ours! Melton's did not try to make it right! They did not even return our calls until our neighbor, a well known restaurant owner called to complain. We wanted the radio replaced because they put in a faulty radio and they received our new radio from dodge under the warranty. We did not trust them to do the work. The only thing we asked of them is to make sure that Jim Glover dodge in owasso did not have a problem replacing it. Well, Melton's did not do that. They continued to deny that they put a used radio in our truck. Our truck that we bought brand new. A dodge Laramie. The most expensive model. And they still didn't treat us with respect. I believe they should treat everyone with respect. But to know that they wouldn't even treat a repeat customer, that spent a lot of money there with respect was very disappointing. Jim Glover had to go through a lot to prove where the radio came from. And they were able to do that with serial numbers etc. and they to wait for a new radio. All Melton's had to do was admit to their shadiness. But they would not, so made it harder for us to get it replaced. They are crooks. And or less you have a "status" then they could care less about you. Well, I could give a crap about status. So it does not bother me one bit to cry out against Melton's. People are to scared to make them mad because of who they are. I don't care about your money status. I care about how you treat people. So just continue doing business the way you are. It will catch up with you. Maybe not now and maybe not tomorrow. But I guarantee you it will. I'm glad with my business I care. I care and I treat people with respect. I don't care your money status. All my clients are treated fairly and respectfully. I actually run my business with my heart. So keep putting money first Melton's and you will run that business into the ground. read more
