I myself was facing a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription due to being in a car with an individual who had a controlled substance that just so happened to be placed underneath the back of my seat and the owner denied that it was theirs. Therefore, despite it not being truly possessed by me, the officer arrested me for it because laws dictate that it belongs to the passenger in that given situation. Steven Bell worked hard on my case to show the prosecutor that there was no evidence that it was mine and he succeeded at getting no charges filed - it never even had to go before a judge! Steven Bell is much more than a life saver. I came to him with quite a complex case. One major misdemeanor and a major felony that I was looking at a 5 year prison term for. Once retained and hired, I've felt the comfort of having the greatest attorney as my counsel. He was with my every step of the way. Steven was able to get me a deal I never thought would be an option. One year house arrest and two years probation INSTEAD OF 5 YEARS IN PRISON. Steven was also obliged to a payment plan with me as I was in a tough spot financially.
