I have never even attempted to make a mum, so I didn't know where to begin. I ordered her mum kits and hoped for the best. Everything that I needed was included in the kit along with fool proof instructions. I did add the monogram, but could have easily used other items that came with the kit. I was dreading making a mum for the first time this year and found Melz Mumz kits online. What fun! The kit was priced below other sites and stores. It came with exactly what I needed (plus some), and very detailed and easy-to-follow instructions. My daughter and I had so much fun making it. I have seen her mums, if she actually delivers, they are beautiful!!! But she cancelled "due to a medical emergency" 3 hours before pick up time even after confirming 2 days earlier. She cancelled several orders and had not even started on them. If you check older reviews, this is not the first time people have been cancelled at the last minute. If you're from Texas and homecoming mums is your business, you KNOW what a big deal this is. She did refund all the money, but that's not the point. When you're in this business, you know the deal and you lack integrity to use the false pretense of "medical emergency" as an excuse for doing this. Many people saw her after she cancelled and there was no medical "emergency" other than she was exhausted from scrambling trying cover the fact that she over booked. read more

After driving 30 minutes to pick up a mum and no one answering we tried once more. When she finally came to the door she stated she had "lost" it. She then said we could wait an hour for her to make a whole new one. We then asked for a discount and for her to deliver it considering we had driven out for no mum on the time that was confirmed by her. She said she could not do that. This is when her husband who was about 6'3 came out and started verbally assaulting and making threats towards me and my 16 year old son. Saying things such as "do you want to go buddy? Come on I'll kick your a**." To a 16 year old. We tried to call back and just ask for a refund at this point and the man came back out and approached the driver side of the car. We asked him to back away and he did; however this was a truly terrifying experience for me and the children involved. And now I do not have the mum for my son's girlfriend. read more

I have bought mums and garters for over 7 years. I was worried at first that the mums and or garters wouldn't look like the ones she had pictured or they would come in all messed up with ribbon everywhere. That has NEVER happened! She boxes those garters and mums individually and takes great care in securing them. I am no where near the Dallas area and she has gone over and beyond to help me, even when I contacted her last minute. She has delt with my many txt messages and calls bc I am a micro manager-control freak.
