I was scheduled here to see Dr. Brent for Cataracts. After several appts. And consultations as well as having them removed I must say everything from start to finish was done very professionally. Especially since it takes co-ordination between the two offices to set up appointments as well as the operating procedures. I am truly grateful to Dr. Brent and the staff at both facilities for their professionalism and dedication to their patients.

At Premier, I had Dr J.E.B. and found him to be patient and sincere when addressing my eye care. One thing I found interesting is the steps of the process (checking in, determining current vision measures, seeing the optometrist, etc) are all done separately. In this way, things move along, but I can see when one area could be backed up. However, I have not yet experienced this to occur. I have found the staff to be professionals and positive. Additionally, at the Hartzdale Dr location, there is ample parking with easy access to the front door.

I ended up here after repeatedly failing to successfully schedule for my annual eye exam at a nation optical retail store (https://www.yelp.com/biz/visionworks-mechanicsburg?hrid=7abQ-Y-ym-B5sxeCJNQ2-w&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)) Now there are a number of ophthalmologists and eye surgeons, but there's just one optometrist, Dr. Match.  He's only available on Tuesdays so you do need to take time off from work to make the appointment, but it's worth it.  Dr. Match is personable and very thorough. After my first visit, I recommended that my son also have his eyes checked and he like him, too.  The assistant, Barb, may seem loud at first, but she's actually friendly and well meaning.  The facility is pleasant and clean. Both receptionists greeted me with smiles and tried to be helpful during check-in and check-out.  I did have to wait 20-30 minutes before I got examined, but that's within my tolerance.  I've been coming here for 2 years and I don't see any reason for me to not continue. NVA vision insurance plan is accepted. They have their own optical shop directly up the stairs, thus providing full services for your eyes. BTW, that's also where you'd pick up your printed prescription.

DO NOT GO HERE! PROTECT YOUR EYE HEALTH. Misdiagnosis and extreme lack of care…read more I believe it's important to leave honest reviews, especially when a medical experience has the potential to affect someone's health. Unfortunately, my experience at this office was extremely disappointing and could have had serious consequences for my vision. I went to this office because I had severe eye pain that had been progressively getting worse, along with redness. By the time of my appointment, I was in significant pain and was worried something was seriously wrong. Unfortunately, my experience started poorly from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff ignored me for several minutes. When I was finally helped, the receptionist seemed distracted and was multitasking the entire time instead of giving me her full attention. The delays continued throughout my visit. The technician who was supposed to bring me back spent time talking with coworkers while I waited, despite my obvious discomfort. Once I was finally in the exam room, she spent a considerable amount of time talking about unrelated personal matters instead of focusing on my symptoms so I could be seen by the doctor. I was then sent to another waiting area, where I again waited while staff chatted with one another before I was called back. The most disappointing part of my visit was the doctor's evaluation. Dr. Krulewski spent what felt like only a couple of minutes with me. He barely listened as I described my symptoms, performed only a very brief examination, and quickly diagnosed me with pink eye. I was confused because my symptoms didn't seem consistent with conjunctivitis. As he was leaving the room, I actually had to stop him so I could ask additional questions. He appeared rushed and uninterested in discussing my concerns. I was prescribed antibiotic eye drops and instructed to use them for one week. I followed those instructions exactly. However, shortly after finishing the medication, my eye pain returned. At that point, I sought a second opinion from another eye doctor. I was told that I never had pink eye. My actual diagnosis was uveitis, an inflammatory eye condition that requires completely different treatment. The second doctor explained that I should have begun the appropriate treatment about two weeks earlier. Left untreated, uveitis can potentially lead to permanent vision complications. Needless to say, learning that my condition had been misdiagnosed was both frightening and frustrating. I trusted this office to properly evaluate a painful eye condition, and instead I lost valuable time before receiving the correct treatment. One additional observation that concerned me was hearing another patient in the waiting room express worries that she may have developed an eye infection after a previous visit involving dilation. While I can't speak to her situation, hearing another patient voice concerns about their care added to my lack of confidence in the office. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. The lack of urgency from multiple staff members, combined with what I believe was an incomplete evaluation and an incorrect diagnosis, left me feeling dismissed and could have had serious consequences for my vision. I would strongly encourage anyone experiencing significant eye pain to seek a provider who takes the time to thoroughly evaluate their symptoms.
