Our booking and UTV experience with Memories was excellent from start to finish. Because there was rain forecast the day we wanted to book, we were able to book a same day rental for my family of four. We arrived at 3pm after filling out the online waivers, and got equipped with helmets, goggles, and an awesome vehicle with "No Doors" for the kiddos excitement. The GPS made our self-guided experience fun and easy, and the trails were a blast! As a first timer, I found driving the vehicle easy, even on the bumpiest of terrain. Just make sure you turn around at the halfway point of your rental so you have time to make it back! We pulled in a little late because we thought the GPS route was a loop. It is NOT. :) The girls in the shop are awesome, they offered the boys a chance to meet their new puppies, too. read more

From start to finish this head been one of the best experiences I have ever had. We did a same day rental for a 5 seater Polaris. We went to first place and my family was fired for helmet, insurance was explained any questions we had were answered. Then we headed to the trail and was met with another fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable employees. She took pictures for us and helped us learn about the driving since it was our first time. Went over the navigation (which was a life saver), trail makers and any other questions. Now to the best part the actual adventure. I think this was my kids favorite thing that we have done as family Ever!!!!! Even my teen had fun and put her phone down, lol. The atv was filled with giggles and smiles from start to finish. We thought an hour would be enough but seriously next time we are doing at least a half day because we did not want to head back. We did get a flat tire but the staff was being helpful and understanding. I would recommend Memories to everyone that is heading up to Traverse City. THE WORST EXPERIENCE!! I have rented jet skis all over the country for fun. Rented one for the lake in Traverse City. Things that went wrong. 1. They wanted a printed form signed and brought it. No way to do it electronically and provide a copy. I'm in a hotel with no laptop and no printer. They had to \"go get the form\" and then were an hour late from agreed upon rental time. Rental time was 3-4. They didn't get us in water until 4 pm. Bc they had to drive 30 mins to get the form. Why is there location so far away from where they do drop off?? That's ridiculous. They wanted us to drive it at first and we said no. 2. Jet ski was a piece of junk. Back seat ripped out, dinged up. My mistake to accept extremely old looking equipment. The owner claims the seat was ripped out because \"a customer ripped it out.\" WHAT?!? A.) why wasn't it fixed?? B.) it looks like it was chewed up or something. It was totally mangled and gone. Prevented my mom from being properly seated in back. 3. Jet ski stopped working for no reason at all in the lake. Stranding me, scaring my family and took away from my full hour rental. 4. I have to flag down strangers to get me in their boat and tow the jet ski back to the dock. 5. when I get back, company first reaction is to immediately blame me and accuse me of \"flipping\" the jet ski. Please tell me how someone flips a jet ski?? That's crazy. 6. I did nothing out of the normal with this jet ski. They are being aggressive by calling me and texting me. They sent one of their people out to harass me and trying to continue accusing me at the dock and trying to blame and accuse me more of flipping the jet ski. 7. I offered negotiated rate to them on the bad experience and they refuse it and when I tell them I will refuse payment for the bad experience, they accuse me of \"committing fraud.\" Please. You ruined my day, this experience, blamed me for things I never did and then harass me. Talk about adding insult to injury. Just crazy to me to think that I would be instantly blamed for something I never did. I would never do anything that would risk hurting myself or damaging equipment I was paying to rent. Very low class - have to be towed back to dock by strangers and no apology, no offers to assist in any way afterwards. Just immediate threats, arguments, and accusations. read more

This was incredible! My family rented a 4-seater ATV with a guide for two hours. Craig (and Grumpy) were the best tour guides!! Went at whatever pace we were comfortable with, and there were no dull moments. The "end" was a beautiful river bridge where we stopped to take pictures. It was wonderful!! Wanted to go four-wheeling on some of Northern Michigans trails. Contacted Memoriestc and was given a price for a side by side and a two person atv which matched the website price. They sent me an emailed invoice to pay up front which I did. However I had to call back because I was never given an address of where to meet for the ride since there r several Trail Heads in the area. Website said half day rides were from 10am-2pm, which is what we got. Next day we arrived at the Trail Head early and ready to ride. However, Memories didn't show up until 10:15 with a trailer. By the time we went through all the paperwork and they unloaded the machines and went through everything, it was 10:45. We were also told that we were responsible for refueling the orv's or a $60 surcharge would b added. Also weren't told that we had to pay a $500 per vehicle before we could leave. I get it, no big deal. They recommended some trails and said there were PLENTY of gas stations along the way. Plenty meaning none. We had a decent time riding the trails and such but then spent the last hour plus looking for a place to refill the machines. The nearest gas station we could find per google was about a mile and a half down roads that it was illegal to ride atvs down and WAS NOT SAFE. We got to the gas station and there were signs that they had no gas. We were fed up by this time, and we gave up on US having to fill up the tanks on these rentals. Also, our half day ride was supposedly over at 2pm per the website. We were there and waiting and nobody showed up to get our machines. We called the number for half an hour solid before finally getting a response. My wife asked where they were and said that we'd been waiting since 2. She also informed them that we did not refill the machines since the gas station had no gas. She said the owner told her not to worry about it and he would "take care of it". Apparently taking care of it is charging us $120 for four gallons of gas. She was also told to just leave the keys under a helmet of the vehicles and leave them there and they'd come get them later. We had fun riding trails, but other than that... yea, we got Memories. Can't see how a company like this could stay in business Update; two days after the ride I txt the owner and let him know that I was disappointed that we were charged the full $120 for gas when we had made an honest effort to refill them. Not our fault that the station was out of gas. After aLOT of back and forth he offered a $30 refund because he wanted me to be a satisfied customer. I asked that he refund one of the surcharges, $60, and he thought I was crazy. He was really trying to convince me that I used 30 gallons of gas between his two machines on a 3 hour ride. One of which was half electric! At one point, I told him to keep the money, cuz apparently he needs it more than I do. In the end he refunded me $45 of the gas surcharge. I don't run a business, but be on time for your appointments, and take care of your customers. Will not be using Memoriestc again for anything. read more

Definitely worth every second of our time. Not our first time riding jet skis but for sure the first time I've ever been welcomed as if we were family.
