I'd say this is one of the better antique stores in the area. Lots of really nice antique pieces however the only downside is they have really higher end prices as well. I didn't try to negotiate anything so I'm not sure how negotiable they are but this one is definitely a place to stop! read more

Had a very rude experience. A group of teenagers and 3 chaperones were hoping to take a picture in the alley way, right behind the store. We wanted the picture for our year book. Of course we had a younger audience which was a bit rambunctious but not too loud or disturbing. As soon as we were all in place, this lady came from out of no where and yelled at us telling us to get out of the alley way, the thing is she also yelled at us the adults. We did not appreciate the way she had handled the situation. She could have kindly asked us to step out of the alley way. Henceforth we did not bother to shop in her store. Every time we visit Tullahoma we make it a point to head over to Memories, the best antique store in town. This place is notable for the fine selection of furniture, cared for and at times restored by the friendly owner, who apparently is also handy with clocks and instruments. There's not a lot of jewelry here (one case) but in the past I've picked up some nice bakelite hair combs and a lovely torsade necklace. You won't find a lot of kitschy country-themed faux antiques and junky knick-knacks here--which I quite appreciate. The multi-level store is laid of neatly and there's not a lot of clutter to make your browsing difficult. During my last visit I was impressed by the selection of old cast iron, primitive wood bowls with charming make-do repairs, hand woven wool blankets and farm implements. I came away with two figural pewter knife rests. Summary: neat, clean store, owner with great taste in true antiques and the ability to repair them, fantastic furniture. read more
