I'd say, if your 25 weeks, wait a little longer. I also thought that we'd be able to record our experience and you can't. You can't record in the ultrasound room. Seems like a good price at first but they nickel and dime you by charging $10 for this, $10 for that. We paid $10 for a video and $10 for the digital photos. I thought we would get something for "free" as advertised for paying in advance and we didn't. They did print out 4 photos for us so maybe that was the freebie. The staff was nice and that's why they get 4 starts but to me, it wasn't worth the $$.

If you need to use this facility, call 30 minutes before your appointment to verify it's still happening. A confirmation text means nothing. While I don't care for Methodist hospital system, I can see why I need to arrive 30 min early. At Methodist there is some patient care as the technician stays with you, checks on you, gives you a heated blanket for the MRI, etc Here you will just be sitting alone in a cold room for an hour and then plopped on an MRI with a syringe quickly shoved in your arm. There was only one tech working that day as well. I felt more like I just went through a fast food drive thru after going here which nobody wants to feel like in this situation. And apparently my appointment was either pushed back by an hour without me being notified, or their scheduling group mixed up and my "appointment" time was really the arrival time. In all this place is sloppy. Go to Methodist or go to a Memorial Hermann in the loop if you want to feel like a patient and not a quarter pounder with cheese.

My tech who made it very known she had 10 years of service should have more understanding that women come loss and not always happy stories. My appointment was at 8am, and I arrived extra early. They let me know that they had only 1 tech…read morebut assured me they would get me back by my appointment time. My wait was actually over an hour past my appointment time, and they called people that had appointment times after me before me. There were 3 ladies in front of me when they took me back at 8am. They brought 3 more ladies back after 8am, and all 6 were seen before me. When I finally gave up and put my clothes back on to leave at 9am, the waiting room in the back was empty. When I went to the front to let them know I couldn't wait any longer, I didn't get an apology or anything close to it. Just told they could reschedule me. Last year, I also had an hour wait with a morning appointment. They seem to overbook in the mornings or don't schedule their techs appropriately. Very disappointed in the service over the last few years. In the beginning they were great and wait times were minimal, but it has slowly declined. To add even more issues, they are upselling another service that they offer along with the mammogram, but that throws the appointments even further behind, because that 10-15 min appointment now has another additional service. If you can't handle your normal mammogram appointments, why would you add another service to make the appointments longer? This is a poor business model at best.

The Registration staff was very welcoming and friendly, My mother is having an MRI done this early morning so I will let you guys know what her experience was from her experience and her words. Well she didn't have her MRI and I'm pissed. We were there before 6:30 am my mom was then lead to the back was told to change into her scrubs and gown to then be told she can't get her MRI performed. They called me a couple of days prior needing information on a procedure she had done in another state almost 10 years ago. I told them I would call and try to get the information they never told me if I didn't get it the MRI couldn't be done. I did call the doctor's office but no one returned my call so unfortunately the MRI couldn't be done. I just wish the communication would have been better my time and my 81 year old mother's time was wasted.
