DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT Pennye was completely pleasant and professional when I met her at a bridal show, I was excited about using her services. I booked their photo booth services for my wedding, then had to cancel when I realized it was not in my budget after all. When I originally made the booking and paid the deposit, I made sure that the booking could be cancelled and the deposit refunded. I was assured it would not be a problem. I booked the service in September 2017, cancelled in February 2018, got married in June 2018, and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND. Each time I hear back from them, they act like it's the first time they are hearing from me, even though I have been contacting them on the same email thread (18 messages long at this point.) On my last contact, I left a voicemail, submitting and online contact form, and emailed all on the same day. Each contact method, I threatened to report to the BBB. They finally responded, acting like I was overreacting. Asking for my mailing address for the check, again (the THIRD TIME) and saying they would send it out. I still do not have this refund. I am so glad I canceled this booking for my wedding. If they are being this difficult about sending a $50 deposit refund check, I can't imagine what a disaster their services would have been on our wedding day. read more

We hired Memory Lane for our 30th high school reunion. After going through numerous vendors on Thumbtack we chose Memory Lane. The communication with Pennye was exceptional. She made a great sample for the picture strip using our high school mascot. It looked great. We were excited to have our event. Pennye had 2 assistants show up at the yacht we were having the cruise on. They were so professional. Everyone had a great time. They went over and above. I would recommend them highly. Memory Lane Photo Booth did a great Job on my daughter's 18th Birthday!! They are easy to talk to and answered all my questions. They are very accommodating to our guests and always have a smile on their faces. They were a little late for the party. I have them scheduled to come in for the last 2hrs so our time was cut short. We rented the Mirror Photo Booth for a surprise birthday party. It was a huge HIT! The team was prompt, accommodating and professional. They were great communicators throughout the planning. If I could leave zero stars I would. I contacted them beforehand and asked if a date was available before I bought their groupon and they assured me the date was clear. Bought the groupon and secured the date. This was in May, two months prior to the date I needed their service. I called a week before the date I needed the service and they say they overbooked and there's nothing they can do. So I contact groupon to get a refund and they said the provider aka memory lane booths already redeemed my groupon, ( who does that? And a month prior to the date needed) I called them to complain and they said they would call me back and have not since. I've called multiple times, they are extremely unprofessional. read more

When I first called memory lane to book my event I was told they were free and could accommodate me for the times I needed. I was told they would get back to me to finalize and design the photo cards. No one called for a week, and when they finally did I was told they were fully booked and couldnt give me the 2-4 as promised. Of course I was not happy about this but understood it happens and wanted to be flexible. So agreed to 1-3 The day of my event they showed up at 11am. Which was way too early and guests hadn't even showed up yet. So losing one whole hour was very upsetting to me. I was told I could extent the rental for $100 an hr which never was an option because they were fully booked and left. Aside from that I asked for a master of all the photos taken. This was a family event and I wanted to document these special memories. That never happened. Not only did they forget to bring the flash drive, they emailed me only a few photos almost 3 weeks later. The workers were nice but customer service was very unprofessional and sloppy. I will not use that company again. I'd look into hiring someone else as they don't really care how important your event is. Very disappointed read more

I was so excited when I booked Memory Lane Photo Booths for my husbands surprise birthday party AND paid IN FULL ahead of time, securing the date. I had been in touch with them the entire time and they assured me days before stating "We are ready for your event. We are currently working on your proofs. You should see them late today or tomorrow". They never sent any proofs nor did I hear from them again. On the date of my event I noticed it was 45 minutes after the scheduled time and I called numerous times with no response. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! They would not answer any of my calls and never replied to any email messages either. I was really looking forward to having a photo booth at his party and I was extremely disappointed. Days after the event I found out through my credit card company that they even tried to ask for ANOTHER PAYMENT?! We filed a dispute through our credit card company and the next day they emailed me stating their had been an emergency and weren't able to complete all their bookings. Memory Lane Photo Booth did a great job for my daughters party. I initially had reservations about using them based on the yelp reviews, I contacted the manager,Penny and she assured me that I was in good hands. I am quite pleased that I took the chance, they were on time, they were fun, the were prepared and very helpful. And I will state I also used the groupon deal and it was quite the value.
