Obviously, this lady did not know what she was doing even though she "had been doing her job for many years". I called her back and tried to explain her how to go over approval request and she would not let me complete my sentences . In addition to it, she did not even sent the prescription order to the pharmacy . Extremely frustrating and humiliating experience

The assistant who helped me at the front desk was also kind and considerate! Booking an appointment was easy. Once I arrived, there was little to no wait time. The waiting room and exam room were both clean, quiet, and comfortable. The elevator can take some time because this is a high-rise building. As a result, I just took the stairs when leaving the office since she is only on the 3rd floor. Parking was at first intimidating; however, I learned that off-side parking on 82nd Ave (one block away) is on Thursday and on Friday mornings, I believe (double check when you arrive, just to be sure). Metered parking starts at 9am. So, if you book your appointment in the morning on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, and you arrive between 8:20am - 8:45am, you are likely to find parking there. Because the doctor is efficient, and there was no wait time, I was in and out without paying more than a dollar for parking! This may not be the case for you depending upon your needs and the actual time of your appointment, but I hope this info is helpful. The office is right off of Queens Blvd, so the train station and bus stop are also right nearby! I even had a prescription filled .... the front desk staff called it in within minutes, and my prescription was ready by the time I reached the pharmacy. I set up consultations with this office multiple times regarding foot surgery. I purposely chose a…read moredate in the summer due to the time constraints of my career, which was 6 months ago. Of course, everything went downhill. Speaking to the podiatrists, they were very professional and explained in detail about the surgery process, my options, and the aftermath. The issue was the incompetence of the people in the front desk. On the day of my surgery, I received a call from the surgery center that the approval for the procedure did not come in on time. (How?? It should have been confirmed 6 months ago). I contacted this podiatrist office to find out the details and they said there was a technical issue. Then I called my insurance and they told me the approval was just put in on the DAY of my surgery. Shortly after, the office told me that my insurance was not accepted, and they cannot do the procedure with me. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and a WASTE OF TIME. I read reviews about this doctor/practice and decided to try so made an appointment. The doctor was very informative and took X-rays of feet which showed right away that orthotics are needed. She explained and gave instructions on exercises can do in the meantime until orthotics come in. Not a big office but very convenient and saw us very timely after filling out forms.
