So my dear child complained his feet was hurting again. We had gone to another podiatrist before and gotten inserts then but it was out in LI so I went to Yelp to find a doctor closer. I read reviews about this doctor/practice and decided to try so made an appointment. The doctor was very informative and took X-rays of feet which showed right away that orthotics are needed. She explained and gave instructions on exercises can do in the meantime until orthotics come in. Not a big office but very convenient and saw us very timely after filling out forms. read more

Funny enough l, I found Footsteps Podiatry by searching for podiatrists near me. Not a lot of reviews for doctors in the area, but Dr. Davydova had 5 stars on Yelp and on Google so I couldn't go wrong! I have chronic ingrown nails on both big toes, but have the tendency to cut my nails too short and dig in on the sides. Over time it gradually worsened and I was through with the pain so I called FP, a little after 9AM on a Tuesday. The receptionist was very nice, easy to talk to, and able to put me in for 11:30AM same day. Being a first-time patient I went through the typical duties (insurance card, ID, minimal paperwork). The office was empty - thank you, quarantine - and I was seen within minutes. I explained my situation and Dr. Davydova recommended I go for permanent removal [of the ingrown parts of my nails]; however, since my toes were infected it would be something to consider down the road. She advised that she would need to cut the sides of my nails causing the skin to swell. It's a very simple process, but she warned that the needle used to inject the numbing agent would hurt [and was the worst part]. Having done this before, I was aware, but since it had been so long I forgot how painful it could be. I need 2 injections on each big toe. With a scalpel, I believe, she tested the area to confirm whether I felt pain. As soon as I confirmed that my toe was numb she went in for the cut. She was done in a matter of seconds. As she disinfected the area and wrapped the toes she explained next steps (treatment, bandaids, iodine, etc.) and scheduled a follow-up in 2 weeks. Now I'm just waiting for the copayment I would recommend her! Very sweet, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. If you live in/around NYC or Long Island and are in need of a good podiatrist, look no further! Without getting into the specifics of the foot problem that I have, I have to say that Dr. Olga is nice and goes out of her way to help her patients. In my first visit, I noticed that she was expecting a bundle of joy. I felt guilty when she was treating the foot problem that I was having. Nevertheless, she wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty, even when she was pregnant. The receptionist is also nice. There is hardly any wait time. I made a same-day appointment and luckily got one. Office is clean and organized. Walked in there thinking I am gonna have my pincer nail removed but Dr. Davydova took great care of me and gave me options instead of going the easy route of just pulling out my toenail. Dr. Olga Davidova is # 1 in town because I had flat feet she checked it and I liked the service she provided for me. Dr. Olga made me custom insoles and it got my feet not to hurt because she told me to get used to it by the first day she made me wear it for 1 hour then the second day 2 hours so On so forth after 1 month she made an appointment and she checked it is good and she made me comfortable to walk how long as I can it used to hurt but not anymore I recommend to go to Dr. Olga Davidova it's even worth driving a very long distance. She is also # 1 probably in the world. I only recommend her she will do anything you need. I usually do extensive research before I see any doctor. I was extremely satisfied with the knowledge and skills of Dr. Davydova. She is highly experienced and was able to help me with my issue with an amazing approach. I had gotten an infection from a pedicure, after seeing different doctors who have prescribed various antibiotics which failed as therapy, Dr. Davydova chose the correct antibiotic for me which helped immediately after the first dose. In addition to the issue I was having with my foot, I also mentioned that I stand on my feet a lot and she immediately suggested that I dont have wear "ugly" shoes to be comfortable. When it comes to my feet I'm a shy guy, so I just dealt with the pain I was feeling in my heel. The pain got worse to the point I was cringing with every step and I finally conceded to my wife I needed help. I went to Footsteps where Dr. Davydova was so patient with me and put my anxiety at ease. After I described the pain I was feeling and that I spend the majority of the day on my feet the Doc explained I was suffering from plantar fasciitis, and that everything from my posture to my footwear was contributing to my pain. She recommended an anti inflammatory and walked me through a number of stretches targeting my heel. I followed Dr. Davydova's regimen and by my next appointment my pain was down to a slight discomfort. Now pain free, and with the proper footwear, my foot hasn't felt this good for a long while.
