The waiting area is lovely. Plenty of space, and well kept. There's even mints & lollipops for you! The front desk staff are awesome. Polite. Smiles & makes you feel welcomed. Dr. Miranda has awesome beside manner. He explained everything in an understandable manner. He gave great recommendations based on my issue. I will be continuing to see Dr.Miranda. I truly can not speak highly enough about Dr. Cheskis! he was professional, didn't make me feel rushed, made me feel heard but best of all resolved my foot pain. i am very scared of shots, very!!! when Dr. Cheskis recommended a quick injection, i refused. He explain that he could prescribe medication, but it would not be as effective. Dr. Cheskis actually helped me get over my fears, clearly explained everything I would feel & was compassionate & kind. I felt better within an hour! and was very proud of myself that i got the injection. but i can sincerely say i couldn't do it without his support. Even my kids were shocked I agreed to the injection. I highly recommend the practice & Dr. Cheski! I barely waiting to see the doctor and the little I waited I was very comfortable.

Also, they are usually booked, so that says a lot without saying much. I was able to secure a time slot but keep in mind there are limited offerings for first time patients, due to the demand. Also, there is not just one doctor on the premises, so keep in mind. Service is friendly and overall practice is tidy and clean. The most important is really whether these specialists know their stuff, and that's an important judgment that each patron would have to make on their own. For me, it was awesome that xray machines and other equipment are at their location, easily accessible. Definitely 5 stars~

After seeing him a handful of time the tendonitis is much more manageable, and often even unnoticeable. After having some problems with a previous clinic and how they approached insurance coverage/cost, Dr. Lavian has been very clear with how he approaches it, checks my coverage and what's accepted by the insurance company, assuring me he only performs treatments that the policy would cover - or clearly tell me otherwise. He also has very good "bedside manners", polite, flexible with time etc.

He also gave me treatment to strengthen the muscles in my feet and taught me a few muscle training exercises. Scheduled appointments are always reconfirmed via text messages. You can always text Dr.Lavian if you need to reschedule an appointment and he will do his best to adjust. We've agreed on a payment plan for my comfortable orthotics since I'm still a full time student. My overall experience with this podiatrist is phenomenal. Having proper feet structure is detrimental for the future because it affects the way you walk and the alignment in your body.

A little story time: one evening 2 weeks ago the 9 year old I nanny stepped on what seemed a tiny piece of glass. We tried to take it out but it was hurting her so we decided to wait for her school's nurse to do it in the morning. So she slept uncomfortably and stressed out about this foot pain. In the morning, the nurse said she couldn't take it out and we need to go to urgent care. Head to urgent care, spend the next 3 hours there to be given 3 injections into her foot and the piece of glass getting pushed in deeper into her foot! Poor girl was in so much pain. Then the Urgent care people said they couldn't take it out! So they send us to a doctor's office who I wont name and we spent another 2 hours there to the same result. The glass dug in deeper and a 9 year old in so much pain. Eventually this doctor recommended Foot and Ankle Surgeons of New York to us and we met Dr. De Lucia. After the longest morning/afternoon where no one could go to work or school, Dr. De Lucia patiently and diligently worked hard on getting that darn piece of glass out within less than 20 mins! Seriously the man saved the day. He also made sure to do x-rays and have her foot properly bandaged and set into a post-surgery boot so she could walk without hurting too bad while she healed. A week later we followed up with the Dr. and her foot didn't even bruise, there is still the cut mark but no redness and is healing beautifully. Thank you so much Dr. De Lucia, you're the best!!

I scheduled an appointment for a workers' compensation issue. My WC company spoke with the office and submitted the required paperwork, yet no one informed them that a specific authorization number was needed for me to be seen. I arrived in pain only to be told by the receptionist that I could not be seen without this number. When I asked why this wasn't communicated, she had no response. I spent 30 minutes trying to resolve the issue and got nowhere. To make matters worse, Dr. Levenson, whom I've seen multiple times, walked past me without acknowledgment. When I asked to use the restroom, I was told there was no patient restroom available. The lack of communication, empathy, and customer service left me disappointed and ultimately led me to leave without being seen.

On my first visit was fitted for orthotics (insoles for shoes), paid $500, and told to expect them in about four weeks. Fourteen weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I called the office and was told to set up an appointment. When I got to the office they had no idea where my insoles were, but they were sure it was a problem with the lab, and would call the lab and let me know. After not hearing an update, I finally got the number of the lab they used, and in 2 minutes found out from the lab that the doctors office had not sent my order to the lab. Avoid unless you want to deal with multiple appointments, long waits, and poor communication.

I chose Dr. Drakos for his elite reputation, but found his care disappointing. After surgery for my…read moretalus fracture, imaging still showed a 3 mm intra-articular gap. Other specialists told me the reduction was poor and should have been more anatomic. When I asked why the gap remained, he said, "You can totally blame your body for that." I found this cold and dismissive. I was not warned about the risk of arthritis, and no CT was obtained before I was cleared to return to sports, even though this type of fracture is well known to be difficult to assess on X-ray. I felt my concerns about the incomplete reduction and the long-term consequences of the incongruent joint surface were repeatedly dismissed rather than seriously addressed. Although known for treating elite athletes, as an ordinary patient I did not feel I received the same attention or accountability. I now live with chronic pain and limitations that have taken away many sports and activities I loved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend him.
