(Although their entire rail for both window seating sat empty through the duration of my visit) I ordered the mushroom and truffle oil poutine, their classic burger with bacon and a pint. Poutine was decent, though some of the bites of cheese curds (not traditional squeaky curds) we're still cold through the center .. gravy mushrooms and truffle made the dish decent The burger was quality just overwhelmingly messy and fell apart prior to a few bites in. Also the menu stated briosche buns, and it was served on a sesame bun The fries were quality though be double or triple fried.. I enjoyed them. Would go back as it was recommended to me to give them another round and for more of their food offerings.

I had heard good things about the Brewski in Chorlton. Brewski sell North American comfort food inc. poutine, Mac n Cheese, Raclette and Deli sandwiches. The place has been featured in things like Lad Bible, and Food Bible. I went for the poutine and it tasted really good! Everyone else in the group had the poutine too and everyone enjoyed it. I want to go back again soon and try their Afternoon Tea - Brewski style. 3 tiers of steak, fried chicken, pulled pork sliders, Mac n Cheese, deep fried Brie, frickles and poutine and more. Plus a G&T pot or pitcher of beer between 2. (All for £25p/p)

I've visited this TGI Fridays a couple of times now over the past couple of years, and I always seem to have issues, with this place not meeting the regular TGI Fridays standards at all, compared to nearby locations in Prestwich, Cheadle and The Trafford Centre, which are very good. The interior is dark, but they've tried to make it pretty cool with the large TGI Fridays writing on the wall, the motorbike at the front, and the number of booths. It's pretty large inside too, so there are plenty of tables, as it's the only TGI Fridays in the city centre with the Piccadilly Station one closing, this is useful. One thing which has remained consistent over the years and with other TGI Fridays is that a manager must take my order as I have an allergy, but this even included drinks - it felt annoying to be separated from the rest of my party when I wanted anything. On my most recent visit, I had the New York Strip steak with a Long Island Iced Tea, I do think the steak is a little pricey for a non-specialist chain, and for the quality. When it came, it was very tough, dry and fatty, even though I ordered it to be medium, so it wasn't a very good cut of steak at all. Both steak sauces also contain gluten, so I had to order BBQ sauce, which tasted great with the fries... but the steak not so much. The Long Island was good though, and the foam on the top was unlike most I've had before. They have regular offers on the cocktails too via their loyalty scheme, making it easy to get one for free or at a reduced price near and then. The mobile signal in the restaurant is also non-existent, despite it being fine just outside, so I'm not sure why that is, there is WiFi though which works after you fill in the tedious form. The staff seemed nice enough and did apologise for being unable to assist with my order due to company policy. 2* - The staff are friendly enough and the drinks are good, that's pretty much it, I wouldn't come back for food but I wouldn't rule out returning for drinks only.

Quite popular, very mixed ages , singles, couples and groups. Had ultimate ribs, presented well very and tasty . Also the cocktails are mixed and flavoured well. Service is ok, a few errors - no cuterly, then no serviettes. Nothing major. But an over all enjoyable service. Will come back as the ribs are great.

The old railway building. Thanks yelp for making me aware. They have a lunch special with a selection of burgers and a chicken sandwich for £10 (at the time of this review 07/2023). That includes a side of fries. I noticed every restaurant that you walk In the host will ask you about any allergies or intolerances. If you let them know you're they will let you know what to avoid. Or if they do not know they will send you a manager who knows. There must have been a huge problem with allergies and it is a great way to avoid it. It is, in the beginning, a bit annoying until you realize it is actually a good thing (I wonder if Mcdonald's to the same - I'll might have to try that). So I ordered the chicken burger with a breaded fried chicken breast some black pepper mayo sauce some salad, Onions, and a slap of avocado. WOW - the nicely tasting breaded chicken was fried to perfection and it was a really big piece without drying out. Good job! the "burner" was definitely the combination of chicken and that avocado spread mixed in With the black Peppercorn mayonnaise - an almost perfect bite. The bun was not too big to get in the way of tasting what's important all other ingredients have been fresh and am tasty the fries also fried to a crisp state without being burned. Hands down a surprisingly great burger. Oh, I will be back - the service was five starts as well quick, knowledgeable, and friendly!

After a heavy night I took my friend here for brunch. On the outside it looks closed. Walking up the stairs exposes a open kitchen and large seating area with cacti everywhere and a cool kat clock over looking the place. The service was enjoyable from start to finish..90 percent of staff including the chef looked genuinely happy to be working there dancing to the music smiling as they cooked and served. It gave it a buzz! The menu consists of well..a American diner..from the special board I chose the maple pecan nut shake and the Benny crab cakes.. my friend had the spinach and poached eggs dish with fresh mint tea. The Shake was huge and yummy and while I waited for my food I kept seeing indulgent stacks of pancakes being whisked away. My poached eggs were oozy and perfect and the crab cakes.. well very crabby! And rich..to break it up there was water melon on the side which refreshed the palette. My friend really enjoyed hers too. I really want to come back here :( please extend your opening times!!

As you walk in, you start at a stairwell with "Welcome" written in a variety of languages, and a date stone with the year 1910 carved into it, giving a nod to the heritage of this building, and an explanation as to the small entrance and downward staircase, because once you get downstairs it opens into a very large cellar space. The space is very surprising, and furnished with tables, chairs and booths but not cramped in, taking advantage of the space. It was also a very curious thing to sit looking at your menu but see up through cellar windows onto the streets above, and people walking past. We are greeted and taken to our table. We note that it's quite quiet for an early Saturday evening, but our waiter informs us that it gets busier as the night progresses. We are given a wonderful meat-centric menu, which has some great choices of burgers, steaks and chicken, all for very reasonable prices for the city centre, and even offering an Early Bird special. Our party chooses to start by ordering buffalo wings, nachos, and onion rings. American classics. The food arrives in good time and is both fresh and tasty. The onion rings are crisp, the buffalo wings are succulent, tasty, and wonderfully messy to eat, and the nachos are crunchy, but could possibly have done with some more cheese, or a melted cheese sauce rather than melted grated cheese, but they are accompanied by a really tasty fresh salsa, which our entire party shared. Our waiter is friendly and attentive, making sure we're enjoying each course. For our mains we all decided we were very much in a burger mood, and two of us ordered the mushroom burger, whilst I ordered a classic American cheeseburger, all of which again arrived in good time. The burgers were excellently presented with no messing around, no wooden serving planks, just good food as it should be, and were tasty, well seasoned, and used fresh ingredients. They also came with lovely hot crispy chips, which is always good... too many places are let down by lukewarm soft chips. As we enjoyed our meals, we saw another table had some huge stacked burgers turn up, which must be The Portland Tower burger. They looked great, definitely one for next time! We really enjoyed our visit here, as we only decided to pop in on a whim, and weren't expecting anything special, but ended up leaving having had good food and good service in a pleasant and spacious environment for a really good price. We'll definitely return.

Part of the successful chain of restaurants and nightclubs, Bury's Chicago Rock is a fun place,…read morewhether you're after decent food, a bop to some cheesy tunes, or just a decent cheap drink. By day, Chicago Rock provides a decent menu, similar in scope to that offered by similar chains such as Frankie and Bennies or TGI Fridays. Main courses range around the 8-12 pound mark, and the portions are sizeable - you shouldn't leave feeling hungry! As with these other chains, the serving staff are all about tips and can be a bit in your face, but that's not a bad thing - you'll get all the attention you need, and shouldn't be left hanging round between courses. Starters and desserts are also plentiful and recommended, from garlic bread and appetising meat dishes, to luxury ice cream sundaes and good portions of cakes, there's something for everyone. By night, Chicagos comes alive with the DJ and dancefloor. The bar usually has good promotional offers, such as 2 for 1 on certain drinks, or free drinks between certain times. These attract a wide range of people, from students after a fun night, to older types who might just fancy letting their hair down. The music tends to be a mix of chart music and cheesy dance stuff, with the odd bit of rock and roll, disco and rock thrown in - something for all. The place is quieter in recent months than in its heyday, but it's a decent and generally trouble-free environment. Stag and hen parties usually end up here, and it's often fun to watch the singles prowling ;-)
