Tried to reach out to T.O.G.A.R. via Yelp reservations and via their website Contact Us page…read morewebform directly, and had zero luck getting any response. The Yelp form seemed to have some issues going through; not sure if it was a Yelp issue or vendor issue, so that's why I went to the vendor's website directly, and attempted their webform. As of now, it's been numerous business days with no reply. I see from other reviews that my experience appears to be outside the norm, so that's unfortunate.

Ok, close it down folks, I've found my new appliance repair guy for the foreseeable future…read more I had started down the YouTube instructional video.. you know the ones that make everything look incredibly easy, but then it turns out it's a marginally different model of dryer and completely changes the whole equation? Yeah, one of those. So about fifty suppressed swear words later, I'm on the phone with The Other Guy, and we're booked for a short window the next day. He jumped right in and dismantled the entire thing to clean it out, test out parts, and make sure he got it right. He showed me how the burner was glowing too hot, which means we'd just be replacing it again in a handful of months. We tested and tried different things on it, and he landed on an airflow issue (in addition to already fixing the broken part), and shortened our exhaust duct. He stuck around to make sure this fix was it and was going to take, and it's been humming ever since. I also found his pricing fair, and will go to him again (but good lord hopefully not for a while, we've had enough of these things this year). On last note -- just call him. I know. I want to send the message and hope it works out, but I think it's easier and more likely to happen if you just call on this one.

You wear a wristband and scan it throughout different themed rooms as you explore. I loved how immersive it was, with puzzles, games, interactive activities, and lots of great photo opportunities. There are mirrored rooms and movie theater and my favorite was the 1990's nostalgia room. They also have a pizza restaurant, gift shop, speakeasy bar, arcade, and live entertainment every hour, which made it easy to enjoy your time there. I ordered a cocktail at the speak easy and it was just okay. Overall, I thought $40 was a little more than I expected to pay, but I appreciated that it wasn't overcrowded and there was always something fun to discover in each room. I'd definitely recommend it if you've got two hours to burn.

It fills a niche spot that KC did not have prior to Atlas 9's arrival. I would say that although you can bring children here, the puzzles are geared more toward adults due to their complexity and where things are physically placed (higher than waist level for some). Children can still enjoy the whimsy/weird interactive environment and play in the arcade though. You could spend a whole day here if you wanted to be a completionist and read every single clue to complete the puzzles correctly, or choose to skip the puzzles altogether and spend about 3 hours just going through all the different rooms and watching their small performances (a couple dancers, an aerial silk artist, a saxophone player). Your experience could be greatly affected depending on how busy it is though, since the puzzle stations often require each person to spend some time there, creating a line of people waiting to use the station. It can be kind of pricey at: --$40 per adult --$20 per child aged 3-12 --$25 per adult WYN county --$15 per child WYN county --$25 per "hero" if you're a teacher, nurse, EMT, firefighter, police officer, active military, or veteran --$25 per senior aged 60+ However, on Tuesdays, tickets are "Half Off:" --$20 per adult --$15 per child aged 3-12 (not truly half off) --$17.50 per adult WYN county --$12.50 per child WYN county (not truly half off) --$17.50 per "hero" if you're a teacher, nurse, EMT, firefighter, police officer, active military, or veteran --$17.50 per senior aged 60+ There is plenty of free parking in their private parking lot. Tickets are for timed entry, and they ask that you simply arrive within 30 minutes of your scheduled time. Overall, I'd recommend this place on a Tuesday if you've never been. However, I felt like it was something that would probably only be worth visiting once unless they continuously changed the rooms/environment.
